Your Smith- "The Spot". A group started by a Minneapolis artist, Caroline Smith. Supposedly they are r&b/pop, but all I know is this one song. Heard on our local station- 88.5 WXPN out of Philly. Very catchy. Initially thought it was Courtney Barnett. I'd post it, but I would probably botch it. In the meantime, you can check it out on Spotify.

really bummed i missed this band at Roadburn; this record is excellent. kind of a weird black metal amalgam, like if Oranssi Pazuzu listened to more Unwound or Sonic Youth.
