They both congratulated me on my first 3DD post earlier that day, which I thought was so cool. (The guys @ Amoeba also mentioned it, also cool) They treated me like a friend, made me feel welcome, and added to my night in a very positive way. I also enjoyed discussing DBT lyrics w/Mr. Arkansawyer... you made me think about the meaning of some songs in a way I never had before. Thank you!

The pleasure was certainly mutual. Part of what made my night fun was watching you have even more fun (I think) than I was having. And believe it or don't, but you did just the same for me: treated me like a friend, made me feel welcome, and added to my night. And besides, you write great posts.

I still can't believe I got there late and missed hearing that live. Maybe next time.

Enough stat camp. These were really fun shows. We met a lot of really nice people down front, and the crowd (near us at least) was asshat-free. I wonder if the smokey stank permeating the place had anything to do with that. ;)

As a matter of fact, yes it does. ;)

Well, better late than never, here's my first post. Rod from Los Banos here, and those were two fantastic nights of incredible music.
I managed to work my way up close to the front both nights and enjoyed meeting a number of you good folks. Having that powerful rock right in your face is even better when surrounded by others who share that intense joyous feeling that only comes from the best live music.
Here's to many more great nights to come,

Rod
