This forum is for talking about non-music-related stuff that the DBT fanbase might be interested in. This is not the place for inside jokes and BS. Take that crap to some other board.

I like the Trout shirt. And an all-Vonnegut team would be tough; Montana Wildhack bats cleanup.
Sweet Charlotte"s Seventh Mistake by Cori Crooks her mom had 15 names 7 husbands and 10 children. She didn't know who her dad was and her mom faked cancer twice before dying from it for real. yet the scrapbook style makes it endearing. good quick read. I am amazed Cori turned out as well as she did.
about to dig into this one i love baseball history
One of the most amazing experiences of my life was being at Yankee Stadium for the first game after Munson's death. From the moment of silence that spontaneously turned into a roaring, extended standing ovation to Luis Tiant's masterful pitching in what turned out to be a heartbreaking loss (I want to say 2-1, could have been 1-0), it was a magical, emotional night that was rooted in baseball but transcended it.

i bet you drove your dad fucking crazy when you were a kid.
i was speaking to the large numbers of older white ladies who love the whole twilight/true blood/vampire deal.
Older? Am I now OLDER?
Yeah, I'm pretty obsessed with the Twilight thing. I read three of the four books in a week, one of them in one day. It's definitely like heroin for me.

Thanks Penny! I feel better knowing it got you too.
We went to Seattle for Spring Break this year and I said lets go to the Olympic National Park so the kids can play in the snow and my wife said we can also go to Forks. I said what the hell is a Forks? The town is cashing in big time and had Twilight crap everywhere.
Looks like a bunch of little whiny fucksticks to me
And no, I have not read the books! or seen the movies! The town was crawling with teenage girls and middle aged women taking pictures of everything in sight and yes they were all white Zip.

Reading both at the same time, they just seem to go together well. hmmmmmm
Have you read Serpentine by Thomas Thompson?
No but I shall add to my list, do tell more BTB
Fascinating and well told tale of a globetrotting serial killer. True crime doesn't get any better. But you'll probably want to sleep w/ the lights on for a while. For my money, the non fiction equivalent of Silence of the Lambs.
