figured the list is long enough that people won't want to have to search back through old posts. Good to have it all in one place

they didn't come up when I did a search for "artist of the week"
Maybe the topic didn't have those words in it? I'll add it
EDIT: Added. The topic was "Dexateens: Lot's of Info Here", so it didn't come up in an AOTW search.
Any other artists I'm missing?

are you sure some of these weren't on 9B? These aren't turning up in searches. If you have links, please provide

Re: Artist of the Week Index
There were no Artists of the Week threads on 9B. Cortez started it right after 3DD launched.
There are a bunch of threads that delve pretty deep into various artists that were not Artist of the Week threads per se. The McMurtry thread comes to mind, also the Springsteen thread, also ones on Ryan Bingham, Jamey Johnson, etc. One thing I've tried to do in planning the AOTW threads is to avoid covering an artist who's already got a lengthy thread devoted to him/her. So Zip, you might want to consider linking to those non-AOTW threads too. You could just call it the Other Artist Index.

i could.
my point earlier was that a simple topic title search of "The National" does not turn up the thread that dime is referring to, so I'm not sure where it is

dime was just making suggestions of threads he'd like to see (and who he'd like see as authors of said threads)

Re: Artist of the Week Index
The Artist of the Week is one of the coolest things we do here at 3DD. Not only do we get to write passionately about our favorite artists but we also find out about bands we don't already know about. This index is a great idea.

And now we have our blurb for the book jacket when it all gets published

Centromatic and WJ are on the calendar. And I've made some efforts to get Patterson to write one of these threads but so far I've been unsuccessful.

Re: Artist of the Week Index
Can I just say thanks for this idea. I've been reading the links here for the best part of an hour, now, from bands I like (Todd Snider, Warren Zevon, Reigning Sound and others) to ones I've never heard of. What a great idea this is!
Re: Artist/Feature of the Week Index
I think I've been keeping up with adding these pretty well, but if you've written an Artist/Feature of the Week and it's not in the index, send me a PM and I'll fix it up.
Thanks
