All it takes is one wicked heart, a pile of money, and a chain of folks just doing their jobs

Listening to this now and it sounds fucking awesome.
This was right around the time I first started seeing them. First show was the Orange Peel show in Feb. earlier in the year (then flew to Germany the following day, woof!), and then saw them a week or so after this Plan 9 gig at Great Woods with The Black Crowes.

I wasn't aware the albums were numbered. When I discovered they were I checked mine. 0215. My birthday, how special.

Still super-bummed that this didn't come with a download card.
Anyone see a vinyl transfer out there?

well, the show did not come with a download card. has anyone bothered to transfer it to digital? would LOVE to get FLAC/WAV files of this. i think it's the only DBT item that i don't own and the show happened in my city! i had just moved here at the time but didn't get into the Truckers until around 2009 or so!
any help would be greatly appreciated!

I tried to transfer it myself, but it was my first time doing it and it turned out pretty poorly.

Guess it's being released wide.
I kinda hate when something is an exclusive and then gets mass-produced. It kinda takes the zing out of RSD and releases of the like. Oh, and this will be on colored vinyl

On the one hand I agree, but if this means it also sees a Spotify release it might be a net positive.Flying Rabbit wrote: ↑Sun Jun 27, 2021 6:07 pmGuess it's being released wide.

So basically we paid more money back in November to get a real shitty packaging system. BS.

I ended up buying two back then (one at my local, and one of the colored Plan 9 exclusive version). Gave the black vinyl version away. The biggest bummer is that this is a particularly inspired Freed cover that would look great on display. But I won’t be buying a third copy.Zip Up to Michigan wrote: ↑Fri Jul 02, 2021 10:08 amSo basically we paid more money back in November to get a real shitty packaging system. BS.

I think the idea was to replicate the "bootleg" experience from back in the day, plus it came with a poster and replication ticket. Pretty nifty packaging system to me. It'll be worth more in the long run, if you're into that type of thing.Zip Up to Michigan wrote: ↑Fri Jul 02, 2021 10:08 amSo basically we paid more money back in November to get a real shitty packaging system. It's Interesting New West is putting this out, but I guess they were under contract at the time.
