Excellent. Those February northeast dates will help ease the sting of missing homecoming.

Pleased to see so many European dates. Gonna be hard to pick which ones to attend. Can’t do all.

The Midwest is comprised of 12 states. That’s four shows, spread widely across four states, with no two night stands.Iowan wrote:Last time I checked Indy, Chicago, St Paul, and St Louis were in the MidwestZip Up to Michigan wrote:Drive-By “Fuck The Midwest” Truckers up to their typical shenanigans...
No Ohio? No Southeast Michigan? They haven’t played Detroit in three years and the last show they did there was a sell out in a good sized venue.

I hear you brother, but we might see a fresh leg of the tour come mid to late summer after Europe. Lots of gaps they can fill in -- Milwaukee, Madison, Detroit, Kalamazoo/Grand Rapids, Ohio, etc.

Leeds seems a bit random.RolanK wrote:Pleased to see so many European dates. Gonna be hard to pick which ones to attend. Can’t do all.
Dublin could be fun.

Detroit will be in the midst of its next bankruptcy by the time we get the boys back hereZip Up to Michigan wrote:The Midwest is comprised of 12 states. That’s certainly what I’m hoping, Mr. B.
Re: 2020 Tour Dates! THERE ARE SO MANY
There is a window between the 2/29 show and Indy where (hopefully) some Ohio/Michigan dates might show up. We'll see
And I knew when I woke up Rock N Roll would be here forever

I've no doubt there will be a stop in Detroit later in the year. Just hope it's not in Royal Oak again. That place sucks.
Re: 2020 Tour Dates! THERE ARE SO MANY
after 15 years of chasing this band all over CA and Nevada they ARE COMING TO MY HOMETOWN!
I am so excited I can’t believe it has happened.
The Booking agent at Humboldt State is a long time DBT fan, (our kids are in the same class since kindergarten)
If anyone is thinking about coming, let me know, I’d love to see you all here on the North Coast!
I’m literally in tears....

Just checked where Arcata CA is on the map, is Remote Outpost a proper way to describe the location...?

I would say no, but close. I only visit over there, Peter lives there, so he’ll be the judge of record. When I first heard Arcata I was hoping they were playing Humbrews but I figured it was way too smallgepman wrote:Good for you.PeterG wrote:after 15 years of chasing this band all over CA and Nevada they ARE COMING TO MY HOMETOWN!

It is about 8 hrs drive from Portland and 6 hours from SF.
Lots of Natl Parks, epic coastline and not that many people.

I really like the royal oak music theater. It’s a nice room with great sound and plenty of rails to lean on. With that said, yeah, I’d much rather them play detroit proper at the majestic or Fillmore.Jack Flash wrote:I've no doubt there will be a stop in Detroit later in the year. Re: 2020 Tour Dates! THERE ARE SO MANY
First world problem: Nor Cal dates conflict with Wilco shows that go on sale tomorrow. IIRC, Wilco is in Santa Rosa same night as Petaluma show (not many miles between those towns) and then Wilco in Oakland same night as Fillmore

Re: 2020 Tour Dates! THERE ARE SO MANY
Yeah Humbrews would be a bit small, there is a privately run theater called the Arcata Theater Lounge that would be perfect, but they probably can’t afford them, so I will gladly take what I can get and rally as many people as possible to go.whatwouldcooleydo? wrote:I would say no, but close. The ‘Van Duzer’ is on Campus and has great sound, but prefers you sit down, THAT AIN’T HAPPENING!

Re: 2020 Tour Dates! THERE ARE SO MANY
Wow! That freakin’ sucks, but I gotta get my RAWK Fix. Reminds me back in 09? When Wilco was at the Greek and the Beastie Boys were at the Warfield, went to the Boys and it was the best show of theirs I saw in 20 years of seeing them, and unfortunately the last I got to see. BTW: Wilco at the Warfield on the Whole Love? tour was one of the greatest shows I’ve ever seen.whatwouldcooleydo? wrote:First world problem: Nor Cal dates conflict with Wilco shows that go on sale tomorrow. I saw both, as Beasties played the Greek the day after Wilco. Beasties at Warfield was their party/disco/VIP/whatever they called it show, Greek was the standard tour show...and it smoked!!!PeterG wrote:Wow! That freakin’ sucks, but I gotta get my RAWK Fix. That could happen, buddy. You are on the way home from Portland. It's been over 10 years since I saw a Show at Van Duzer.PeterG wrote:after 15 years of chasing this band all over CA and Nevada they ARE COMING TO MY HOMETOWN!
