You really know how to string a girl along! :)

To be honest, I'm super non-committal about the shows myself. I'm in Montreal the weekend before and if I still can't ride, who knows where I'll end up?
Oh me of little faith. See the north of the border thread. Or, put another way, you damn well better be there!!! :D ;)

Can we expect openers for these shows or will they be “An Evening With...?”

Yes, in a perfect world my "In" would apply to all shows...what I should have said, was - "In...for 3 nights in Toronto...".

The opportunity to break bread will no doubt present itself again, and at that time, we shall most definitely do so

(Cross-Posting this from its own forum):

Hey, 3DD-ers/Heathens attending the Saturday, June 22 Brooklyn Bowl show: Quick Bright Thing and I will be opening the doors to our apartment for some pre-show cheer and community communing.

We're in west midtown (address and details below), and we'll provide homemade snacks and finger food. (We LIKE to cook; there will be plenty of delicious food). It's BYOB, but I will have some Michter's on hand (and perhaps another bottle or two).

Since we do have a New York City-sized apartment, we will need to have some idea of how many Heathens are planning on coming, so...if you're up for it, let me know! Hope to see some of you. Please let me know if there's anyone coming NOT on 3DD I should reach out to separately.

Saturday, June 22, 1:00-4:00 PM
400 W. 43rd Street
Apt. 36-H
SW corner of 9th Avenue
(Subway: A, C, E to Port Authority/42nd Street, walk west to apartment. Also: N, Q, R, W; 1, 2, 3 to Times Square, walk west).
Snacks & Stuff provided
BYOB
RSVP here...let me know if you need my cell here: glennraucher at gmail dot com.

I'll likely be placing an "event" on the DBT FB page soon as well...

Great openers for Brooklyn.

Interesting that Lee’s Palace website (Toronto ) advertises all three shows as “An Evening With...” I wonder if that will hold true. I’ve never seen the band without support and I think it would be cool but I generally find the openers to add to the overall experience.

Wow, got lucky on this one. I live in NYC and Florida and right now I am in Florida but will be in NYC on 6/20. This is a killer lineup and I am getting psyched for this.

Those are some sweet openers. I’m missing Craig at Joe’s Pub, this’ll make up for it a bit.
And haven’t seen T. Hardy Morris yet.

Finally! I thought this week would never get here. But now I'm gonna be bummed because I'm not going to the first weekend's shows, lol. Can't wait to hear all about it.

Does anybody know if there will be opening acts for the other shows on the mini-tour? None are listed on the DBT website.

Tomorrow!!

Looks like either Glenn R or me live the closest to the venue, so, anyone needs any advice, transit-wise, restaurants, bars, lodging, feel free to ask. I've got a few folks staying with me over the next couple weekends, if there's a lodging emergency, hit me up, at 917-806-3776, I'll see if I can help.

In the spirit of Glenn's NYC-apartment-sized gathering, I'm hoping to have a slightly larger scale shindig in my Queens, NY-sized backyard, on Saturday 6/28. Let's see if we can put something together.

No openers listed for Toronto which is bizarre because the shows are two weeks away...

There is no opener for the Toronto shows. It says "An Evening with Drive-By Truckers" on the venue website.

So where does that leave Hartford & Beverly? No openers listed and no "evening with" title.
