Re: 3DD English Premier league Fantasy Football League
Exciting win for Spurs on Sunday in the last 10 seconds of stoppage time. But the team, and therefore my fantasy team has been decimated w/ Kane and Ali (not on my team currently but had been thinking about picking him up) injured and Son away for international duty. I transferred Son on the theory that I'll be able to get him back, but I hesitate to jettison Kane because I'm not sure I'll be able to afford to bring him back, but in the meantime that's quite a hole in my lineup. The rejuvenated Pogba would be pretty useful right about now. Sigh.
I cannot get used to all the schedule breaks for all these "side tournaments." I get the champions league but the rest of 'em just seem boring and a waste of time to me, not that my opinion counts for anything.

Good on the club and major kudos to the kids. Gotta love it.
And in premier league news, the rumor is that Harry Kane may be back this wkend, about 2 wks earlier than expected. I added him to my lineup on the theory that I'd rather have him in the lineup even if he doesn't play than not have him in the lineup only to find out that he played and scored 2 goals or something.

Sounds a lot like the pre-2004 Red Sox.

Re: 3DD English Premier league Fantasy Football League
absolutely stunning that this asshole was allowed to leave the pitch walking on his own power and with the same amount of teeth in his mouth as he had before invading the pitch. I am of course a Villa supporter so I would have had zero issue if the AV players on the pitch had stomped the assailant into the pitch Regardless of who I/you support, this is completely fucked up
Said assailant has been sent to jail for 14 weeks and is banned from all UK football matches for 10 years, in addition to being banned for life at St. Mary's. Will be interesting to see if City are docked points, fined heavily, and/or forced to play some home matches in front of an empty St. Mary's. Needless to say, City needs to pay a hard price
I have no firm evidence to support this theory, but nonetheless I will be stunned if we find out that the Blues supporter isn't a relative of Arthur Shelby
And this wasn't the only pitch invasion this weekend in Premier League and Premiership matches

Bolton Wanderers Have Two Weeks To Stave Off Financial Ruin
also sad is this from the comments section to the linked article:
Speaking of the (relative) struggles of the original teams and being generally interested in the history of the game, there’s not a lot of talk about it that I’ve heard, but Notts County, the oldest professional club in the world, is about become the first* of the original Football League teams to be relegated to non-league football, the way things are going at least. Sitting at the bottom of League Two with eight to go.

Congrats to the Commissioner, sactochris, on his convincing victory. Season starts in 3 months. After Spurs win the champions league of course.

Congrats to our Aston Villa fans for the team's return to the big leagues.
And then there's this, just seen today, although the book was written almost 25 years ago: The dedication to Val McDermid's Clean Break reads:
"To Chelsea fans everywhere, in deepest sympathy: God knows, you need something to cheer you up.
Looking forward to Saturday. Go Spurs!!!

This 3DD fantasy league for the 19/20 season is up and running.
In additional to the original league I have also started a second league where we will compete head to head against each other.
yb0alw is the code needed to join the new 3DD HTH league.

Re: 3DD English Premier league Fantasy Football League
Probably unlikely we’ll see an increase in the number of teams (though one can hope) but I truly hope we’ll at least see a return of every team from last season

Re: 3DD English Premier league Fantasy Football League
We've got seven teams at this point- who's missing from last year (IIRC we had either eight or nine but, as always, I could be wrong)?
I think there is a good chance we'll (hopefully) have at least one new team this season. Fingers crossed
