Jamie Lin did an hour long set from her living room floor on facebook live last night and it was pretty fantastic. Just discovered her a few weeks ago. Also she's a Trisha.

She's been a frequent collaborator with Turnpike and is basically royalty on that Facebook group. Hell of a talent. I've spun this a time or two and like what I hear, but it hasn't sunk it's claws into me.Clams wrote:

The most recent one is great too.dogstar wrote:
Not listened to these for a while. I forgot just how good they are. Wish they'd come over to Europe and tour again.

Are any Courtney Barnett fans annoyed that there is another recording artist named Barns Courtney?
And I knew when I woke up Rock N Roll would be here forever

John Kilzer- Scars
John is a Memphis guy with a very interesting bio and this new record is great. He played basketball at Memphis State in the 1970's. A major label record deal kinda fell in his lap in the 1980's and he a had a couple MTV hits. For many years now he has been a Methodist minister in Memphis while still putting out a record every few years. This new one is a beauty and some heavy hitters worked on it. Rick Steff of Lucero, Steve Selvidge from The Hold Steady and Bash And Pop, Steve Potts from latter day Booker t and the MG's, and Matt Ross- Spang all took part.

I listened to his live record the other day too. Looks like he's gearing up for a new record and tour soon.Cole Younger wrote:Some live Ryan Bingham.

Re: What's Everyone Listening to?
Really liking this one. The first third and last half of the album are stellar, but it does drag a little in the middle.
