said it before- surprises me that these guys get no love around here, they seem to be the kind of band so many here like.........but as always, what the fuck do I know?
They are a good band. A tad derivative at times, but many bands can be. If you are a fan of Beggars/Bleed/Sticky/Exile-era Stones, you gotta like these guys. 3milelake is a big fan and pimped them hard years ago.

Good to know, thanks. 3milelake’s pimping must have been during my hiatus
Agree that they are derivative as fuck but not in an offputting manner

I love these guys. I've always said about them that the style of music is what you would get if Dead Flowers was a genre and you know what? There ain't nothing wrong with that. Starving Winter Report is my favorite. I literally played it yesterday.
We call him Scooby Do, but Scooby doesn’t do. Scooby, is not involved

back in the early 90s, before I ever read No Depression or participated in any message boards, I made a series of mix tapes of "alt-country/whatever you want to call it" bands and I named the series Dead Flowers! I shit you not
