Whoah. Really? Yeah, first sign of a keeper.
Saw Avetts tonight and they played Just Be Simple. And it was amazing. Some may say "blasphemy" but I say you should have been there. I think I may have been one of 25 people in the amphitheater that new the song. That said, I have a feeling that will change. One day.

Jah Wobble's bass on this is otherworldly. Or, as dime would say, Jah Wobble is a ninja.

It’s way less polished than Freedom’s Goblin. Kind of all over the place. Need more time with itscotto wrote:What say you? Read a good review, but haven't heard anything yet.Zip City wrote:

Re: What's Everyone Listening to?
Fogerty doesn't like it but I think his self titled solo album is as good as those Creedence records. IMO he was as great as anyone has ever been during the period from 1966-ish-1975ish.cortez the killer wrote:There are days I think CCR is the best American rock band ever.dime in the gutter wrote:fogerty does not get enough love as a songwriter.

Lately:
Kurt Vile
Courtney Barnett's new one
Springsteen at the Roxy 1978
Meek Mill
DBT southern rock opera
Kinks playlist
Tyler Childers Redbarn Radio
Mudcrutch
Sarah Shook
My $.02, Fogerty is one of the greats and I do believe he gets his due.

Kching: Make that 4 cents. FWIW, I've heard Springsteen call Fogerty one of the greatest American songwriters ever.Clams wrote:My $.02, Fogerty is one of the greats and I do believe he gets his due.
