Yeah, this rules. Even through my shitty TV speakers.
All it takes is one wicked heart, a pile of money, and a chain of folks just doing their jobs

Yeah, um, so, this really needs to be some kind of DVD we can purchase. This > Live at 40 Watt > ACL. Let's make it happen. Seems like the crowd was louder in person than on the youtube stream, but that can be fixed. I want this on DVD!!
Thank you - what a treat!!

Re: Free Webcast of Capitol Theatre 10/6
Only got to see the first half hour but holy smokes it was heading towards epic even by then. The early stretch of SRO songs was a clear signal of what kind of night it was. And the vid director really seemed to love EZB which was cool & definitely different. Also way cool was seeing all the rail birds and saying hey I know him. And her! And that guy too!
Glad I saw what I did sorry to not see the rest and really sorry that it has been months and will be even more months til my next rock show.

I wish there was a live DBT show streamed every Friday night! The performance was excellent and the camera work & live mix was really good, especially for a live stream. The quality of the video look really good on my tv too.
I love going to shows but there's something to be said for watching from your couch with zero lines for beer or the bathroom and no fear of getting kicked out if you want a hit of something else lol.

Turn you demons into walls of goddamned noise and sound.

His voice was just amazing. I don't know if EZB sings (!!), but Lord, four terrific vocalists in one band.Clams wrote:Matt P absolutely killing it on kkk

The venue manager said about 900 advance tickets were sold, so at least at first the crowd seemed light...but, shit, the moment they started, it was loud and intense. A serious round of cheering and applause before they played a note.ramonz wrote:Yeah, um, so, this really needs to be some kind of DVD we can purchase. This > Live at 40 Watt > ACL. Not QUITE as transportive as my Webster Hall experience, but that's comparing to my favorite show ever. This was super close.

Indeed it is! I'm not sure it will be for long though. I am accepting PM's if you'd like to feel a bit more certain about the future.Vincent wrote:It's still on YouTube.

Judging by the reviews* and setlists, I think every show this leg has been epic.
