Looking forward to having DBT on the bill. A welcome change of pace.
I'm the main stage manager for this festival too. Excited.
Hope to see some of you out.

My buddies in Virginia all go to this festival.

One of my craziest concert experiences involves Love Cannon who is playing.

Years ago Love Cannon was playing Floydfest while I was in attendance, and I told my buddies (we were all in a "music fest state of mind" at this point) that I knew one of the guys on stage playing; of course they gave a reply of, "bullshit," but I knew I recognized this guy. I worked my way up to the stage an yelled to him, and as the band walked off the stage, and he said he'd catch me after the encore. Ends up "he" was Jay Starling, a musician who plays with several jam outfits. Jay and I were psychology majors at a tiny liberal arts school in Va. Although we were several years apart, we were in school at the same time for at least a year or two and had lots of mutual friends.

Go to the Festy. You never know who you might see on stage or in the crowd!! From what I understand the crowd size is limited so it's very intimate!

Heh, Jay & I went to the same elementary school. He was a few years ahead of me, but I remember him.
All the Love Canon dudes live in Charlottesville. Have probably seen them 60 times since they started as a bar band.

Normally the bands that play at The Festy aren't bands I'm dying to see but this year there is one notable exception.

WarHen, are the Truckers confirmed for Saturday the 7th?

Tickets for all 4 days are all that are on sale right now. Maybe single day tickets will go on sale closer to the event.

I believe they are the Saturday headliner, but don't officially quote me on that.

No quoting. If they aren't the headliner, the promoter has lost his/ her mind. :D

I see no reason why they wouldn't be, frankly.
I dropped the hint about booking DBT last year because their fans would travel for the show, even if only to purchase a single day ticket.
Don't let me down 3DD peeps!
