Great to see the shows and hang with y'all in Athens though.

Hate to hear that. With this weather I thought you might be out catching Pennsylvania trout.

Yes a group of crazy people took over my room without me. Welcome to the Dazed.
Of course its equally possible that Rod was there and just doesn't remember.
It was an only at the Dazed moment. "We are in your room" is not a normal text. I'm the one who left the lights on,
door cracked, and music playing when I went for a visit upstairs, but still.

Same. Tracy and I woke up sick Monday morning. We're still kind of fighting it off. It's been a shitty, shitty week.

Wasn't he the first dude to walk on the moon?

Probably Freedom.

Has anyone seen a recording of 2/16? I assume it was recorded since it was streamed wasn't it? I checked the usual places (etree, Dime a Dozen, Archive etc).

Not sure if being shunted out in the hinter lands of the Howard Johnson's was a bad thing since I had to taxi to and fro or a good thing since it seems the dazed is a biological hot zone.

I was sneezing and shit on the ride back home with Flea and Daddy Played Poker, and Flea confidently looked at me and pronounced that I had the crud. I confidently told him it was allergies that I'd been battling for a week. Well, if it was allergies, it morphed into a hell-on-wheels chest cold/can't sleep because of post-nasal drip thing that is crushing me. I'd suffer in silence if I could, but I''m pretty much a huge wuss when I'm not feeling good. Ready to put this thing behind me.

Would like to do a HC recap some time - it was as incredible as always, and for all the reasons we know and love. Miss you guys.

Me too. Today is day 6.5 for me....so tired of this bullshit. This weekend Tracy actually floated the idea of skipping HC next year since this is her 2nd year in a row getting pretty sick the week after. To quote her "fuck this fucking shit".

I think someone needs to do a post HC in depth study, complete with spread sheet, to determine where the illness is coming from. The Dazed may be getting a bad rap as it seems many of this years crud victims weren't even staying there.
I just want to stay in that better time and place....

I think it's just putting so many people in contact with each other in confined spaces with bugs from all over the country. We took all sorts of precautions, vitamin C etc and still were sick by Friday night of HC. Mine is still lingering but I'm hoping the worst is over. To me the pleasure of seeing so many good folks and so much good music is more than worth it.

I am 2 for 2 on pre-HC prophylactic antibiotics with no crud... better living through chemistry (before chemistry)

Day 11 of lingering effects of the Athens Cold (didn't get cruddy this year which is a plus), started feeling bad the Monday afternoon after HC. It's hasn't been awful but this sonofabitch just won't go away completely.

Probably the same sort of effect that strikes kids at primary school
