Know of a great band you think we'd like to hear about? Got some music news? Or just want to talk about music in general? Post it here.

The Better Angels Of Our Nature, Hooker 'N' Heat (disc one), Street-Legal, and three I haven't heard in so long I'm not sure what they are. No, wait. One of them is the new One Republic--not as good as the first one. Damned if I have any idea what the other two are.

Dexateens-Hardwood Healing has been literally stuck in my work truck for 2 years. I don't listen to it much anymore, but when I do, I play it very, very loud

The Cure "Show". I'm getting ready to see them for the first time in May (after a 25 year wait!). I'm quite excited! Good cruising around variety on that one. I'm sure the new Iggy Pop & Primal Scream discs are going to sneak in there when they are released next week.

I tried and tried but I just couldn't get into that one. Not saying it's bad just couldn't figure out where he was coming from or trying to get to on it. What are your thoughts?

BTW the new Tedeschi Trucks Band album has been on heavy rotation in my car since it showed up last week

He has chosen a new path later in life. He's very influenced by Paris. It's best to just divorce his association with Pink Floyd in your mind when you listen to him now. His wife co-writes a lot of his songs (and most of his lyrics). Overall, it's a B- album with a few really good tracks

Due to a reshuffling of the family cars, I'm moving from a Honda with a 6 cd changer to a Toyota with just a 4 disc changer. Losing 2 discs is very traumatic!

I kinda liked it. Need to get it back in rotation. Zip, you sure she writes some of the music too? (not just lyrics)

I'm not sure how much she influences the music part, but she definitely writes most of the lyrics

our car CD player has been dead for ages. In the cassette player is a 22 year old Geto Boys mix a good friend made for me when we left Austin. Been playing it a ton of late and it drives Jen crazy

I almost never use the CD player in my car, but ever since I bought A Sailor’s Guide To Earth on vinyl I’ve had the bonus CD in there for occasional listening. It just now hit me that album came out over 15 months ago
