It sounded (from the stream) like it was just Patterson. Hard to tell thoughDuke Silver wrote:Margaret?

Was that Margaret from The Silos? It was really hard to hear it on my crappy laptop.

I hope to never go that long between rock shows again. Great night! And a late one partying back at the hotel after! And hard to beat a getaway beach day on the flip side...

A little while back, Patterson Instagrammed a pic of him spinning the Silos "Cuba" on a turn table. It all makes sense now.Tyler wrote:Yesalquina wrote:Was that Margaret from The Silos? It was really hard to hear it on my crappy laptop.
Curious what it sounded like, love that song.

Patterson did "Margaret" as a dedication to my daughter Margaret, who was at the show and expecting her first child in December. It was a complete surprise to all of us. She had tears in her eyes by the end of it. Meant more than I can ever express. Just one more example of what a kind, thoughtful and golden hearted human being PH is!!!

Great show! Boys were on it. My 7 ft. tall buddy Whitney, who is quite the music fan/authority (hosts a radio show at ODU, etc.), couldn't stop talking about how great it was. Sometimes I feel like it's hard to have that clear eye after a certain number of shows, so it was nice to hear him go on and on. It made my day.
As usual, the 3DD aspect was extra special. Not sure I've been to a show outside of Athens w/ more of a 3DD presence. Late night hotel gathering was a perfect end to a great night.
One interesting note - are the boys following Dime's/Cortez's massive KINKS thread? The pre-show music featured at least two Kinks tunes....one was a mid-period classic (I haven't looked at a song list to try and retrieve it from my brain yet) and "Do it Again," from 1983's Word of Mouth. A great tune and an appropriate choice for getting back on the road! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=voCM0eUyG2c
