You've got a lot of mining to do. Nice dig on the Almost Famous connection, did not know that.

VIDEO Didn't know that either. Of course, the first thing I think of when I hear someone mention Stillwater is this band:

VIDEO Sun Kill Moon is one of those artists that's been hanging around my radar for years (a buddy burned me Ghosts of the Great Highway back in '06) but I've never really sat down with Kozelek & Friends and took the dive.
When dee dee, Cortez, and yourself are all flaunting an act, the odds of me enjoying it are historically high.

Ghosts of the Great Highway is one of the greatest gifts I've experienced frequenting this thread, an absolute beautiful gem.

Prolific as hell (particularly recently) - Red House Painters, Sun Kil Moon, solo, collaborations. Have fun diving in, Iowan.

i'm drinking beer in 20 inches of snow and listening to darkness on the edge of town and it fucking rules as always, checking in to see what cortez the killer is listening too and i am digging English Ocean's quite a bit, dig the 2 songwriter approach a lot. reminds of BTCD/Go Go Boots production wise. great songs.
