if you have a small group the Georgia Game day is the best imo. closer than days inn and way nicer and very reasonable

This calls for the heavy artillery, man: Phone call at least, probably flowers and maybe even a personal visit (on bended knee). And don't forget to smile and say "please."

emails fine in our family she did it last year and then our daughter ran 104 fever so my wife left friday and I left saturday. she (my sister) already has three kids (14, 10, & 8) and they just adopted 2 1/2 year old from china. so she's got her hands full but she's the only one we trust.

Ok... serious question for you veterens. Is there any seating at all in the 40 Watt? And if so can you see anything from the seats? From what I can tell online it looks like there's a handful of seats in the back but it looks like it would be close to impossible to see from them if it was a packed house.
Not sure I'd be able to withstand travel anyway, but I know there's no way I could stand for an entire rock show. Just trying to see what options (if any) I have.

Somewhere between anguish and acceptance.

If you can make it, it will be taken care of. Guaranteed.

Re: Athens Homecoming Shows January 17, 18 & 19 2013
pretty sure the back left there is a riser with stools or seats of some sort. the place is small so unless you are short as hell you can see from anywhere in the room.
Re: Athens Homecoming Shows January 17, 18 & 19 2013
You will not see a thing if you sit
Always go to the show

It is w/ great trepidation that i dare to disagree w/ Mr. jonicont, but in my experience, one can see from some of the seats most or all of the time as long as nobody 6 foot 8 stands in front of you.

For the countdown obsessed. If Jan. 17 is day zero, and we count today, we have 64 days to go
Always go to the show

So what you're saying is that there are 63 days to go.
But I think your math is wrong anyway. Assuming today is November 7th and December still has 31 days and if u remember to carry the 1, there are 71 days 'til showtime.
(Hell, I've disagreed w/ you once today already so in for a penny and all that)

Reasons number 4,673 why Jenn and the entire DBT team is so awesome. I sure hope you can make it -- coincidently, I happened to re-read the thread about your illness and your medical blog last weekend and was once again inspired by your strength.

Thanks for all the support, folks. I just realized I have an ALS clinic in St Louis on 1/17. It's in the morning. That's where I'd have to fly out of anyway. Hmmm...
