Patterson Hood: Melting Point 5/24 and 5/25
I don't know if there was another thread for this so I'm starting a new one.
Can someone post the set list from last night? I heard Little Bonnie was played...what else?

I drove solo from Atlanta and really enjoyed the show. Knowing this was one of the few opportunities to see the full band, I didn't want to miss at least one of these.
I'm sure I'm not gonna remember it all or the exact order, but here goes
Pride of the Yankees
12:01
Little Bonnie
Disappear
Better than the Truth
Leaving Time
Comeback Little Star
Uncle Disney
Pollyanna
The Range War
Heat Lightning Rumbles....
Understand Now
Pay no Attn. to Alice
Old Timer's Disease
I know I'm forgetting some stuff and order is not even close to right
Encore:
Back of a Bible
After it's Gone
I'm in Love witha Girl
A couple videos:

Re: Patterson Hood: Melting Point 5/24 and 5/25
Whoa. For a second I thought you had just double-posted Thursday's setlist.
Thursday was my first time ever in The Melting Point and I have to say the sound in that room was great. Perfect mix, nobody was turned up too loud. The vocals were prominent, but not overpowering. I had trouble picking out Claire's guitar in the mix, but her playing was sparse (and delicate) ; she was playing accents when she picked, and the chords were real similar to what Patterson was playing when she strummed. Her banjo was much clearer in the mix. I love the addition of the cello. It was haunting at times and really made the band sound big in the moments when the music swelled.
It looked like they were pulling a SBD recording, but I didn't see anyone recording audio in the audience. I hope that a recording of at least one of these surfaces. I would really like to hear "Unspoken Pretties" again.

There were a couple of us doing audience recordings, but we're supposed to hold off on posting them; they may do something with Barbe's official recordings.
The Melting Point shows!!
Hey all, would like to say a quick something about the coolest thing I ever did...and that was going to Athens, Georgia for my first time ever to see Patterson Hood and the Downtown Rumblers last Thursday and Friday night with DBT on Sautrday to boot. I had the most amazing time at The Melting Point and thought is was an awesome venue. Met some staff that I am sure won't ever forget me...anyway, the band took time with the fans which I think is the coolest thing ever, so thanks to all of you who signed my photos!! I still have the biggest smile from this last trip!!
Wouldn't mind hearing what others thought...I was having a real good time and then some...
