My point is that Dallas and Detroit and (arguably) San Antonio can win without 2 or 3 stars if they are deep and play defense.
I think Chicago's problem is that Rose isn't good enough to carry a team like Dirk or Duncan can.
Few can. Even Lebron couldn't do it in Cleveland and he's probably a top ten of all time player. The bottom line is that I would be shocked the way Rose plays if he makes it ten years so they have a pretty small window. Better have a plan to complement him and if that means tanking next season then so be it.

I also see the point about San Antonio but, even before the Rose injury, has anyone ever thought the finals would be anything but The Heat & The Thunder? Realistically? Scrappy defensive minded teams win a lot of regular season games but in the playoffs it's a different beast. I was all for trading Deng and Noah for Dwight Howard at mid season, but that wasnt going to happen. I'm just saying that there were questions before the injury over whether the current team could compete for a championship and now those questions are even tougher to answer. We'll see.

That's a horribly bad chant!
I'm just a bewildered Bulls fan

Oh, and their two best players are out , Deng is playing hurt, and Boozer is garbage

Disgraceful. The entire front office should be fired.

A healthy Bulls team rolls the Sixers. Can't blame Paxson for the Bulls' top 3 players all getting hurt.
