George Jones Talkin' Cell Phone Blues
Hey does anyone know the tabs or able to tab this song out? I found some tabs but doesn't really sound right and from videos I've seen it doesn't match up to what Patterson plays.

Hi CartoonGold,
I don't have this written out, but I'll try and explain how I play it...
Truckers Tuning....down a whole tone
Chords throughout are G, C, D, with an occasional Em and Am.
The C chord is actually a Cadd9....mute string 6, fret 3 string 5 with finger 2, fret 2 string 4 with finger 1, open 3, fret 3 string 2 finger 3, fret 3 string 1, finger 4.
On the G chord, add that 3rd fret D note on the 2nd string with finger 3 and fret 3 on string 1 finger 4.
The D note on string 2 makes those chords sound real 'country'.
Am is the chord over "my friend", at the end of the chorus.
The guitar riff is G pentatonic.
Slide finger 2 from fret 2 string 3, up to fret 4, play that note twice more, then play fret 2 string 3, pull off to open 3.
Then play fret 2 string 4 and pull to open string.
This is followed by the root note of either the G or Cadd9 chord, depending on the part of the song.
Hope this helps

Thanks Andy1969 thats definitely got me in the right direction. So the Em would be over "back home" in the chorus and over "I heard" during the bridge as well?
Re: George Jones Talkin' Cell Phone Blues
You got it, E minor is also over "George Jones" .....great song
