Cooley solo alternate tuning (?)

I had the supreme pleasure of seeing Cooley over the weekend and getting the new CD. I was wondering if anyone was familiar with the alternate tuning he had one one of his guitars. It didn't seem to be an open tuning or drop D, but I could be wrong.

Did he play Cottonseed?

That tuning is (lowest to highest) C-G-C-F-A-D
And I knew when I woke up Rock N Roll would be here forever

He did! It was definitely one of the highlights.
