Because I am a lazy person who can't stand walking across an icy, windy parking lot at night just to get in a restaurant. I'd rather snuggle up on the couch with someone but if I ain't got no one, I'll snuggle up on my own and watch dvd's by my lonesome and listen to the wind howl outside. If I ain't going steady by the first week of December I go on hiatus until March. Not too bad. You save money on Christmas and Valentines presents this way. I always manage to screw up Valentines Day anyhow. I either forget all about it or buy a big ass box of chocolates when the woman is on a diet.

It is difficult enough to unhook a bra with just two eye hooks. Corsetts have something like 25 on them. It would take me an hour and a half just to get to second base. Sweats may not be sexy, but it takes less than ten seconds to go from fully clothed to naked. Efficiency counts for something.

A girl in one of my writing workshops wrote an article about steampunk culture last week. Most of the class was competely bewildered, but not me. Who says this place can't be educational?

Here is a tip, practice the bra un-hooking on a high back kitchen/dinning room chair. Or have a teenage boy show you.
Secret to the corsett, if you untie them in the back they slide right off, not that I have any working knowledge of this. Think I show it in a show or something on HBO
