I thought the EP was pretty good, but the album was a snooze outside of a few solid tracks.

Dacus is by far the most interesting writer of the group to my ears, which might be its own hot take.

Dacus is by far the most interesting writer of the group to my ears, which might be its own hot take.

To me the best thing I've ever heard them do is the Dixie Chicks cover.

I think boygenius is fuckin awesome and I agree that Lucy is the best of the three.

I also belong to costco. You can get pretty good deals there on stuff like TVs and appliances. I also bought my hearing aids there, the exact same ones an audiologist would sell for literally double the money.

My brother-in-law has a career at Costco and they pay him really well so I will never talk shit on them since they take good care of my sister and niece. Relative to other retail stores, they value their employees.

I feel better about shopping there because of the way they treat their people. I buy buy most of my meat there and stuff like paper towels and that. It’s especially good for meat I put on the smoker. Prime brisket is $3.99 lb.

Agree on how well they take care of their people. It’s everything else to deal with once you’re in the door that grinds my gears

Well I was just bustin’. I can see that they wouldn’t be everyone’s cup of tea. Like solo Dacus then Baker more. Saw both of them in smaller venue and really enjoyed it. That Baker can play the geetar

Definitely agree if you're talking about the post Waters output. David Glimour is a great guitar player & pretty good singer but a lousy songwriter. I've found it good to step away once in awhile & come back to the classic Floyd records. The Wall is good once a year. Animals is just fantastic. The Final Cut sounds better now than when it came out but it's really a Waters solo record. There's some great songs on it.

Animals is basically my cut off point, and not overly jazzed w/ a lot of the Barrett-era (though certainly some classics, like Astronomy Domine and Lucifer Sam are great). i do like the solo Barrett records though.
