NBA 2021-22

This forum is for talking about non-music-related stuff that the DBT fanbase might be interested in. This is not the place for inside jokes and BS. Take that crap to some other board.

I will love Jrue Holiday til the day I die. However, I cannot fucking *wait* to watch these next few years of Giannis and Dame play out.

Easy there, Bill Simmons.

It's Dame Time in Milwaukee. Celts better look out.

I haven't paid attention to Bill Simmons in more than a decade.

If (and that's BIG IF) he stays healthy, I think he's All-NBA and his stat line will look something like this 22.5 PPG, 9.5 RPG, 3.4 APG, 2.2 BPG.

The extra room on offense for Tatum and Brown, as well as his rim protection, won't show in his individual stats, but will have a huge impact on the team's efficiency and productivity on both ends of the floor.

Is Dame minus Holiday a bigger net gain than Porzingis + Holiday minus Marcus Smart, Brogdon & Robert Williams III?

Yes :) (long time Dame fan. I get Portland games here so I've seen him a lot.) Don't trust the Celts coach. Think he's in over his head still.

Yes. It's such a massive upgrade on the offensive end in the playoffs. Plus Middleton looks to be 100% so far this year, which he probably hasn't been since the 1st round of the '21-22 playoffs. They also added Beasley as their 5th option, who IMO is a better fit than Grayson Allen was. Crowder is in shape and not coming off a 9 month layoff which should also make the bench a little better.

I very much look forward to 37 year-old Horford and KP defending Giannis/Dame pick & rolls in June. I especially look forward to Jrue Holiday playing offense on a different team in June.

Meanwhile, out west(ish), the Ja Morant-less Grizzlies might be in some trouble.

My work password alludes to fire Mazzulla. You'll get no argument from me on that front.

70 and 62 point games on the same night? What's in the NBA water these days?

It's not like my Spurs put up much of a fight these days, but, super impressive performance from Embiid.
Love each other, Motherfuckers!

I have zero issue with the Bucks firing Griffin but my god I do not want the Doc Rivers experience.
