Happy 56th birthday to everyone's favorite New Jersey beer brewer! Mike reached out to me with a free ticket to see the truckers do an interview and set for WXPN prior to their show at the TLA in Philly back in 2008 right after I first discovered the band and joined the old 9B message board - and he's been a good friend ever since. Every time DBT plays New York City, I drive up the NJ turnpike from Philly and pick him up at a skanky restaurant on Route 1 in Metuchen, NJ and then we ride into the City together. I look forward to those drives. Mike's daughter Emily is pretty cool too. Happy birthday MF'er!!
