Re: MLB 2023
Real punches or not the most baseball thing about this is the bullpen guys trotting in after it's all over. But just imagine if they didn't...I don't know what might happen but it would probably be really bad. Or maybe the Angels would win the pennant.

Mookie Betts returns to Boston this weekend for the first time since he was traded. I will not watch. I will continue to be sad and angry.
Note to baseball executives, sabrmeticians and other baseball savants: There is one rule: Never trade a generational player.*
*Except in return for another generational player.

I kid. This should give you enough info to get started. If not holler. As I said before, it’s highly addictive
The game also exists for hoops (men & women), football, hockey, & international football (what most of y’all call soccer)

I play it everyday. I’ve only hit 9/9 a handful of times. Yesterday’s hurt.
And I knew when I woke up Rock N Roll would be here forever

Re: MLB 2023
Which did you miss? I bet I know. I’ve had good success with getting Immaculate but before yesterday I had 2-3 straight days of suckage.
As for rarity score, I have a friend who was in my HS graduating class who made the big leagues. 12 year career, played for 8 teams (including 98 Yankees), total journeyman reliever. He’s been my ace in the hole, used him at least 4 times so far and his score is always something like .4, though once it was .03. He’s now the Orioles bullpen coach. My lowest rarity score on a 9/9 day was 84

Today was my best Immaculate Grid performance by a mile- perfect grid with Rarity Score of 54. And that is with one player coming in at 29%

Re: MLB 2023
Was really surprised to not get Immaculate yesterday - the one I missed was Orioles pitcher with 200 K season. Was half asleep & not wanting to get cute so I went with obvious, Jim Palmer.brettac1 wrote: ↑Sat Sep 09, 2023 3:38 pmImmaculate Grid 160 9/9:whatwouldcooleydo? wrote: ↑Sat Sep 09, 2023 2:53 pmToday was my best Immaculate Grid performance by a mile- perfect grid with Rarity Score of 54. Wrong! I was stunned, so I looked up his stats & his highest K total for a season was 199

Good call. As I said, I was half asleep and my brain totally focused on pitchers from the 70s. Mussina never even crossed my mind, even though I saw him pitch multiple times at Camden Yard as an O

Was half asleep when I played this morning and learned a valuable lesson: make sure to click the proper option when there is both a Sr. & Jr. version of the same name
Wasn’t paying attention but regardless, I totally forgot that this dude had a son who played MLB

Re: MLB 2023
I had the Toy Cannon on one a few weeks back but on that specific game his rarity score (%) was much higher. My friend’s performance yesterday was next level. I thought I had killed it with a rarity score of 54 but then saw his gem and hung my head in shame. Ralph Garr was the only player we had in common yesterdaybeantownbubba wrote: ↑Sun Sep 10, 2023 3:33 pmImpressive indeed. Jimmy fucking Wynn?!! Re: MLB 2023
I have to say I'm pretty darned impressed that you guys can go for rarity on this stuff. There may have been a time that I had the range & depth to do that, but right now, I'd settle for any correct answer and even that's no sure thing (which is why I haven't been playing). It turns out that trivia (or detailed information if you prefer) is like anything else: use it or lose it.
