Shocking.
Me. I want to watch that Broncos game so badFlying Rabbit wrote: ↑Sat Nov 28, 2020 9:34 pmSheesh. The NFL just needs to take a 2-week hiatus.
I mean, who wants to watch near practice squad teams take the field?
It was such a bad game....and not in a good way.Zip City wrote: ↑Sat Nov 28, 2020 9:38 pmMe. I want to watch that Broncos game so badFlying Rabbit wrote: ↑Sat Nov 28, 2020 9:34 pmSheesh. The NFL just needs to take a 2-week hiatus.

When GB went for 2 & missed earlier was a questionable decision, too. Young coach but that sort of thing will get you in the unemployment line. Ask Anthony Lynn. I bet Aaron Rodgers pitched a hissy fit post game. Hopefully will be a good Super Bowl. I wasn't feeling too hot & went to bed before the second game was over. The outcome was obvious. Brady is on a mission.beantownbubba wrote: ↑Sun Jan 24, 2021 7:27 pmThe GOAT,s gonna do what the GOAT does.
But why did GB take that late FG rather than going for the TD on 4th down?
They are unloading a huge contract, and getting fleeced.beantownbubba wrote: ↑Mon Feb 01, 2021 3:18 pmI admit that I don't follow the NFL closely anymore, but I'm having trouble figuring out how Matthew Stafford could be worth a moderately successful veteran starting QB, TWO first round draft choices and I think another draft choice as well (2nd round maybe?) Is it me or are the Rams getting fleeced?
Tampa Bay destroyed Kansas City. Tom Brady was named MVP for the game. Chalk one up for us old guys!boyyourself wrote: ↑Mon Feb 08, 2021 2:09 pmhttps://mediaproxy.salon.com/width/1200 ... -biden.jpg

Then hitting receivers in the facemask. And they didn't make the catch.bovine knievel wrote: ↑Mon Feb 08, 2021 10:11 pmSpeaking of KC’s running game... Mahomes ran almost 500 yards, scrambling to keep the plays alive.
He definitely did his job. That face mask pass was the ultimate C’mon, Man!LBRod wrote: ↑Mon Feb 08, 2021 10:14 pmThen hitting receivers in the facemask. Yeah, I don't know how anyone could pin this on Mahomes. There were so many times he miraculously escaped, somehow got the pass off, and the receiver didn't haul it in.bovine knievel wrote: ↑Tue Feb 09, 2021 1:58 amHe definitely did his job. In my random reading of post game stories this seems to be getting a fair amount of coverage. Different emphases in different stories but under the heading "cultural influence" there seems to be plenty of acknowledgement of Brady's impact.Iowan wrote: ↑Mon Feb 08, 2021 5:51 pmMaybe this is being discussed, but I think one could argue that Brady's biggest contribution to Tampa this year was in raising the bar culturally. As much as any throws he made on the field, his commitment to excellence is on a level that maybe only Jordan has hit in American pro sports.
Mahomes's extraordinary talent and greatness is obvious to anybody who watches him for even a few minutes. Even so, I have to say that I was perhaps most impressed with his incredible feats of athleticism while under pressure during the big game. Not all his passes were completed, and as noted that was often the receivers' fault, but either way, his ability to "extend plays" as they say and then to get throws off from every conceivable arm angle from overhand to underhand and all kinds of contorted body positions, including one while almost parallel to the ground, sometimes seemingly while not even looking towards the receiver, and to have most of those throws be accurate at least to the point of giving the receivers chances to make plays was astonishing.bovine knievel wrote: ↑Mon Feb 08, 2021 10:11 pmSpeaking of KC’s running game... Mahomes is a Bernie Kosar/Michael Vick hybrid. He is unconventional mechanically-speaking in a Kosar kind of way, yet possesses the incredible elusiveness that Vick once displayed.beantownbubba wrote: ↑Tue Feb 09, 2021 10:22 amMahomes's extraordinary talent and greatness is obvious to anybody who watches him for even a few minutes.
