Re: MLB 2010
Wow, the NL finally wins one. What really interested me, tho, was that pitching pretty much dominated, continuing the more or less theme of the season.
What used to be is gone and what ought to be ought not to be so hard

It'll be ok, the Cubs will remember they suck shortly.

I don't understand why you're arguing about it when we all know the Braves are gonna win it all anyway

They just might. The Phillies are just terrible right now.

Did anyone see the braves game yesterday? Both sides had been warned and the brewers pitcher drilled Glas, the ump tossed the brewers manager but the pitcher stay in! The night before same thing happened except the braves pitcher, Venters, hit Fielder and he and Bobby were tossed.

Yeah i didnt quite get that either. I struggled to come up with any situation in where that result would be feasible

now that the Phillies are headed to St. Louis, I'm the biggest Philadelphia fan on the board!

A half dozen responses come to mind, FNW, but none of them seem quite adequate.

When I was a kid, I loved the west coast games. Great way to end a day - finding a cubs or sox game at 10PM that still had 5 or 6 innings to play.

I bet things would be different if the Phils were headed to Santa Fe.

Baseball has a way of just ripping your heart out. Ouch!
One minute Lester's cruising along w/ a perfect game, 10 K's in less than 6 innings and mostly just making it look eeeeezzzzzzzz. The next second, he's losing the game.
OTOH at least i can go to sleep and not have to stay up to see what happens. G'nite all.

Congrats to Matt Garza! I'm hoping that no hitters don't become "old"...quite the season so far! Off to the TV to see what calamity will befall the bosox tonite. Geez, it's starting to sound an awful lot like 2003 ROFL.

Strasburg meets Heyward tonight. Very excited to see these rookies battle it out.
That said, I wish hudson was going against Strasburg again. Hanson can be shaky.
