Fake news. I had the most points in the league when I lost Rodgers (which killed Jordy Nelson) and D. Cook to injuries and then D. Watson. And don't get me started about my bad luck in kickers!

I think Diamond Dave is the only one who hasn't replied. Anyone know how to get a hold of him?

I just renewed the league for this season! I’m assuming DiamondDave will return; if not, we’ll need a replacement. I set a tentative draft date for August 27 @ 5:30 PDT.

Embrace the auto draft. Make junior do his work ahead of time.

Hey guys....sorry, I just got the league renewal notification in my email today. Regrettably, I'm not going to be able to participate this season.
I've had a lot happening this year; my wife has been seriously ill, I just converted to a career position at the Post Office, and I've taken on two music writing and photography gigs.
I'm just simply too busy right now to put even 65% into the league like it deserves. Thanks for the opportunity, and hopefully it'll work out that there will be an opening somewhere down the road.

can't we talk one of our hard-core sports fans (bubba, TC, Zip, WWCD, etc.) to step in? It doesn't take much effort, especially with auto-draft. Alternatively, any chance we can split up Team Clams? Maybe it is time for grasshopper to show master his skills?

Last attempt.

I changed the draft day to Tuesday (8/28) @ 5:30 PDT. Clams was the only person to chime in about 8/27 not working for him. Hell I still don’t know if this day works for him! Regardless, we still need that 8th team to make it a go. I like Mr B’s suggestion.

Come Tuesday morning if we don’t have an 8th team, I’m pulling the plug on the league.

Negative - the whole point of me doing this league is to partner up with Junior (well, that and the free beer ).

I've got a buddy who is willing to be the 8th team if we don't find anybody else. So if nobody else steps up by the end of the day, I'll shoot his e-mail to the commish. This is all conditioned on him being able to auto-draft a team tomorrow night, which I think is an option, let me know if it isn't.
