Localized Re-Styling of 3DD Forum

This forum is for talking about non-music-related stuff that the DBT fanbase might be interested in. This is not the place for inside jokes and BS. Take that crap to some other board.

Localized Re-Styling of 3DD Forum

Post by potatoeater »

I wanted to share something I have been working on with everyone. I hope that the creators and moderators of this wonderful site don't take my work as an insult or an attempt to undermine their efforts. This is purely motivated by personal preference as well as an eagerness to learn something new. Coding is one of my hobbies. From HTML/PHP to JavaScript/Java I enjoy it very much.

I have found myself pretty well pleased with my work and thought I would share it. I would be happy to help anyone who is interested add this functionality to their Firefox browser. All it requires is the Greasemonkey extension and the copying/pasting of some simple JavaScript I have written up.

In the video below I show off how I have converted the forum style to a "dark" theme as well as replaced the header logo.

I'd like to say I'm sorry, I'd like to say I'm sorry, I'd like to say I'm sorry...BUT I AIN'T SORRY!

I like some of the stuff you’ve done. There is a huge upgrade to the phpbb software that 3DD hasn’t updated to that has some really cool features as well.
And I knew when I woke up Rock N Roll would be here forever

Looks pretty cool. I'm fine with how things currently work, but wouldn't complain about that change.

That looks great! I dig the dark theme.
I keep it all together for the sake of the kids.
