I hear copacetic on a fairly regular basis around here. Not like every day, but enough so I'd say it's not unusual.

Ebullient, otoh, is a fine, much underused word.

I used it just last week, to describe an SNL skit that captured some of the wild weirdness of the Firesign Theater.
