Boxing/Cult movie questions for Rocky

This forum is for talking about non-music-related stuff that the DBT fanbase might be interested in. This is not the place for inside jokes and BS. Take that crap to some other board.

Boxing/Cult movie questions for Rocky

Post by Swamp »

1. Who from this board has or does work in the box industry?
2. If someone from this board was to send you a bottle of brown licker, what size box would you want it in?
3. What was George Foreman comparing when he said "....the better it is the less people appreciate it"
4. What is 'Morphogenesis' and what does it have to do with any of this?
5. Do you or have you ever owned a gold speedo?

Questions for me? This is truly an honor. I’ll do my best sir. My nickname on the board and in real life is Rocky but I’m 6’, 160 lbs and not exactly ripped. But I did like Stallone in First Blood and the Expendables series.

1. Wow. I’m stumped right off the bat. Off to a bad start here.

2. I’m a bourbon drinker but not a bourbon snob. Is there anything worse than a bourbon snob? (OK a wine snob is far worse.) I like all kinds of brown liquor. I’d prefer that you hand it to me in person and we share until we’ve had our fill or can’t remember what happened. Box optional.

3. The answer is jazz. Not the transgender kid with a TV show, the genre of music. Who knew George Forman was such a deep thinker?

4. This question is for me? I went to public schools and have no clue. Who knew Swamp was such a deep thinker?

5. I would rock the gold speedo but I’m afraid a Canadian goose will attack my nut sack. Sometimes I wake up in the dead of night, in a cold sweat having had a nightmare about this very thing.

I got a couple for you. Why are you up before 5AM?
Can you post any pictures of you or your lady hanging out with any member from the classic line up of AC/DC?

Your answer to #2 sounds like a good plan.
I spelled comparing wrong in #3 so it might not have made sense but clams probably was able to translate it. George Foreman said "Boxing is like jazz. The better it is, the less people appreciate it."
Your answer to #5 is exactly why I quit wearing mine.

Sorry wwcd?, but if you had the first part of the question right then the second part would be easy as it is in the title of the thread.

Well, I have the first part correct, so I guess I must just be stupid ;)

Parts of that would make a great signature  but I just think you're using the wrong search engine.

what does Steve Coleman's new album have to do with any of this?

Keywords not search engines
I had already planned box type questions when I was delayed. During the delay I heard Steve Colemans interview on npr. By the time I got home I had forgot his name and the title of the album so I typed in 2 key words and got George Foreman's quote.
So I ain't that smart yall, and son of swamp gave me the Rocky Horror reference.

I'm not sure what anything has to do with anything else but there is this.

I didn't know there was a Rocky Horror reference anywhere in the questions. Now I feel stupid.
