Adapted by Maria Sova from Gareth Crocker’s novel, Finding Jack is based on the existence and abandonment of more than 10,000 military dogs at the end of the Vietnam War. Dean will play a character called Rogan, considered a secondary lead role.
"We searched high and low for the perfect character to portray the role of Rogan, which has some extreme complex character arcs, and after months of research, we decided on James Dean," said Ernst, who also produces with Golykh for Magic City Films alongside Donald A. Barton of Artistry Media Group.
"We feel very honored that his family supports us and will take every precaution to ensure that his legacy as one of the most epic film stars to date is kept firmly intact. The family views this as his fourth movie, a movie he never got to make. We do not intend to let his fans down."
While Finding Jack will be live action, The Hollywood Reporter understands that Dean’s performance will be constructed via "full body" CGI using actual footage and photos. Another actor will voice him.
ETA: would be remiss to not include this link from yesterday's WaPo
The reason for the raid was not disclosed by HSI and the U.S. District Attorney for Western Arkansas will not comment on the incident when asked by KNWA.
The Duggar family is probably best known for television reality shows titled “19 Kids and Counting,” and “Counting On.”
Weird enough, right? This one is even stranger, and actually kind of sad, I think:
I don't find that story particularly damning. I'm not impressed with the average Arkansas sheriff's office and have my doubts about the state police's technical expertise. If it turns out these guys are innocent, I suspect this may have played a big part:
During the interview, Rowland noted that he enjoyed the series "Breaking Bad," which is centered around Walter White, a high school chemistry teacher who manufactures and deals meth. The character goes by the alias "Heisenberg" after the German physicist Werner Heisenberg.
In the interview, Rowland went on to say that he thought "Breaking Bad" was a great show and that it was scientifically accurate.
True. He even calls it a great recruiting tool that drew young people into chemistry. The show, not the drug.
Anyway, that is the week that was...in Arkansaw.

After stating that women should be treated better the pope slaps a woman
The conservative in me says she deserved it.
The liberal in me says he's just like every other man.
A Kansas man has asked an Iowa judge to let him engage in a sword fight with his ex-wife and her attorney so that he can “rend their souls” from their bodies.
The judge had the power to let the parties “resolve our disputes on the field of battle, legally,” David Ostrom said, adding in his filing that trial by combat “has never been explicitly banned or restricted as a right in these United States.”
He also asked the judge for 12 weeks’ time so he could secure Japanese samurai swords.

I did not get this info from the interweb making it more believable to me.
1. Is Oklahoma REALLY toying with the idea of a Big Foot hunting season?
2. Is the Boston accent REALLY a result of them hating southerners so much?
Driving back to MA today I passed 2 coach buses on the highway. Both were from a charter company called "Big House Tours." I figured that they served families visiting relatives in prison, but maybe they just give tours of mcmansions. In any case, it certainly caught my attention.
This kind of thing amazes and scares me in about equal measure. Actually, I think it scares me more. But OTOH, I think the writing is surprisingly clear and understandable. And scary. It's a brave new world indeed.
