Competitive questions for GW in IA, Iowan & RockStar

This forum is for talking about non-music-related stuff that the DBT fanbase might be interested in. This is not the place for inside jokes and BS. Take that crap to some other board.

Competitive questions for GW in IA, Iowan & RockStar

Post by Swamp »

Something a little differant this week yall. The early bird gets the worm/there will be a prize. An authentic souvenir from the swamp.**

1) It's the second weekend in August and I'm on my way to Britt. What is my means of transportation?
2) And how much did it cost? (Mrs S did this as a child but her destination wasn't Britt)
If worded correctly one answer will answer both.

Bonus Question. Answer this one and you get your own personal quetion.
As of Jan 2016, who had the best voting record in the US senate?
Good luck yall!

* 2 seperate winners would be great.
** Iowa residents only.

Closer than RockStar but you're not a resident of Iowa  typical Cali answer.

Do you mean sitting senators or all time?

If all time, I'm guessing Harkin.

Due to miscommication for "some reason" on my part, you win the bonus portion of "Swamp's Know Your State" by default.

RockStar has been disqualified. It has come to my attention that Mrs S contacted RockStar before hand and tipped her off that there would be questions. The questions were easy and it was meant to be a "early bird gets the worm" deal. Also for "some reason" she thought she could answer by texting and/or calling Mrs S.
Iowan's answer "fucking hobos" pretty much covers it and he wins this part by default also.
pm me your addy to receive your prize.
Also there are no losers in "Swamp's Know Your State"
A check for $50.00 will be sent to the charity of GW in IA's choice.

On Wednesday it was 65 degrees and there was no snow.

Well, I guess I suck...
If it helps any, I grew up about 20 miles from Britt.
Just don't get here as often as I should.
Reluctantly, our hero rises to the day, with a moan and a curse to an absent God.
