Happy Chinese New Year Yall!

This forum is for talking about non-music-related stuff that the DBT fanbase might be interested in. This is not the place for inside jokes and BS. Take that crap to some other board.

the only time I got to see the Grateful Dead on my birthday was also their Chinese New Year's show (2/27/94). The dragon parade alone was worth traveling from Austin to Oakland for three shows.

If my memory serves me well 1994 was the Year of the Dog

That was my first trip to California, and I would have called you a damned liar if you told me that I would be living in CA 2.5 years later
Son, this ain't a dream no more, it's the real thing

Year of the Rooster.

My new workplace is about 50/50 european/Chinese people. We were invited to dinner at a workmates house last night. She is Malaysian Chinese, two of our colleagues are mainland Chinese so we had dumplings (which are my favourite food) and the best salad Ive ever had, and pork leg and stuff. It was fantastic.

Had a bit much to drink and a bit slow this morning but a great time had by all. I'm a fan!
I've never taken a pissbreak during a DBT show but if I had it would have been during Dancing Ricky.

it's what I do ;) ;) ;)

given your earlier political post, you would have gotten big bonus points had you said, "See, now you've gone and just crossed the Maginot Line"
