I just want to say I miss being in the League this year. I guess I'm watching all the guys I had last year killing it this weekend, sort of, but . I had a lot going on at the end of the summer and couldn't get my act together, excuses, excuses, I know, but now I miss it.

Is Allison running away with it again this year? She's like Man City?

The table is much tighter this year, we’re all bunched up like a NASCAR ‘strictor plate race

Hope you’ll play next year, would be great to have you back. I still haven’t given up on us getting at least 10 teams in our league. We need to all apply an insane amount of pressure on Bill

Very surprising, a little flip flopping, but a little of the same thing

There have been so many games in such a short time period, I can't keep up with which game week it is. Salah (my captain), looked great over the weekend. Then Monday, it's a new game week and he's out with a groin injury before I had a chance to make any subs or transfers.

Also, both Ibra and Lukaku are out for a bit.
I keep it all together for the sake of the kids.

Yeah, I kind of threw up my hands and left it to the futbol gods. But I guess congratulating myself on my brilliant add of Salah was a bit premature :(

Wow, big shakeup at the top this week w/ the enablers jumping FOUR spots to narrowly edge out boognish for the lead. I feel pretty safe in saying that it's the biggest one week change in league history. Elsewhere, the table continues to tighten in marked contrast to last season.

Pretty damn tight with what, ten points between 1st and 4th place. We've got a nice battle brewing with plenty of fixtures remaining to separate the wheat from the chaff.

I've been playing this game for nearly 10 years and I've never seen it so bunched up this deep into the season.

The refs did a good job making sure that Liverpool didn't beat the Spurs. Two bogus PK's awarded to Kane. At least he got one of them in the net.

Salah is such a beast!! I've never had a favorite club, but I'm warming up to Liverpool.

two nights ago all i wanted to do is to have a beer and watch some Olympics.

go into The Barge (huge bar next to my hotel, in Dublin) and every single screen is showing the Chelsea/West Bromley Albion match. ask the bartender if he'll put on the Olympics.

"The Olympics? they happen in the summer."

his co-employee next to him says "In about 20 minutes, after the match is over." well, the match is 3-0 Chelsea with about 10 min to go. it's over. "see ya!" i saw as i stroll out the door.

so I go back to my hotel and ask the same question to the bartender. "Everyone's watching the match." I look around and see one person looking at one of four screens. At this point there it's about 85 minutes into the match. I tell the bartender that the game is over, and i'll bet 100 euro that Chelsea won't lose. He begrudgingly changes one of the screens so that i can see ultra-fit Nordic men ski and shoot.

I'd say you should consider yourself quite lucky that they didn't Green Street Hooligans your ass for West Bromley

Definitely. Everyone needs a league they're sure to win.

Plus phungi was making threats about joining next year so we're gonna be even easier pickings.

Totally agree, we need more players. My wife keeps chirping about playing next year, so we'll see

And in case I wasn't clear, all I was trying to say with "We're?" was that Bubba needs to speak for himself when it comes to being easy pickings

Any chance I can see the standings of the fantasy league going into the final week? We already know who’s being relegated, Watford is safe going into their last match against Man U. Chelsea’s is destined for that Europa League. Please tell me, which players should I be keeping my eye on for this last weekend.

As usual bloody useless at this.

On the other hand Villa have a huge play-off game tonight to decide if they get to play off to go back into the greed league. One nil up from the first leg and a home game what could possibly go wrong?

Congrats to Allison on her repeat!

I tried to give her a fight but just could never quite catch up. For an oh-so brief moment I actually thought the cup might come back home, but as I so often am, I was wrong
