But seriously, the station is getting destroyed on Twitter right now.

What an idiotic move by the station manager
Fireable offense, unless there was a tornado bearing down on someone.
Yep. Incredible. Then again, the guy (or gal) who made the decision probably wasn't alive for the Heidi Game. Then again again it was a freaking 3 point game in the regional finals between 2 legendary programs!!!!! No excuse short of an evacuation level emergency.
The producer might want to take a long vacation
And I knew when I woke up Rock N Roll would be here forever

I am pretty flabbergasted, that seems like way more than would be expected. I have no problem seeing a ton of people having UNC, Gonzaga, and Oregon, but 657 who also had South Carolina?
NFW. I refuse to believe it.

Only 657 brackets out of 18,797,085 correctly predicted a Final Four of North Carolina, South Carolina, Oregon and Gonzaga.

In a 175 entry pool, my 8 year old (with just a little bit of help from his dad) is one of only two entries that picked 3 out of the final 4 and he wins if Gonzaga goes all the way. In the long run, that may not be the best case scenario, especially after he figures out at some point in the future that his old man didn't come clean with all of his winnings.

Yep. Hard not to be impressed with SC so far, I think they will play the Zags very tough. If i was a betting man, I'd take the 6.5 points in a new york minute.

That was interesting -- I remember hearing a few things about how heated the Thompson family/DeMatha rivalry was but didn't realize it reached this level. And those stories from 25 years ago are great I have to think its in Georgetown's interest to move past that history and be able to start recruiting such a fertile source.

Some of those are hilarious. The physical threats are in horrific taste.

Higgins insists on making himself a part of the game. A ref should be an absolute unknown. It's hard for me to have any sympathy for the comedic trolling. I'd never hire Hollywood to roof my house anyhow.

Higgins could never be more heinous than the dreadful Karl Hess

I dunno. I've felt plenty of misery at the hand of Higgins.

good first semi-final game, SC fought back and erased a 14 point lead in 2nd half. Gamecocks had a good shot at winning but 2 or 3 brutal offensive possessions in the last 2 minutes killed them. Gonzaga played better for the majority of the game and deserved to win, so congratulations to them.

gotta burn some nervous energy, so here's this:

at the Feb 15, 2008 show in Portland I was at the merch table, wearing a Carolina sweatshirt, and was talking with Craig Lieske. Every single time I saw the band after that, no matter where or how long between shows, Craig would always say, "you're a long way from home, Carolina." That always made me feel really good.

I miss that dude :( :( :(
