Fucking Kansas is going to win the league again. Their streak is just incredible. Especially when you consider the strength of the Big 12 in basketball, and the 18 game round robin.

Outsider here, but I think overall it says more about the competition than it does about Kansas dominationIowan wrote:Fucking Kansas is going to win the league again. Their streak is just incredible. Especially when you consider the strength of the Big 12 in basketball, and the 18 game round robin.

Re: College Basketball 2015-16
There's truth to that, and prior to 2014 the Big 12 was pretty mid-packish in hoops, but there's always been a handful of very good teams in the league and Kansas keeps winning. And it's not so much that Kansas dominates, like you said, but they just don't drop many games they should win, and they do it every single year.whatwouldcooleydo? wrote:Outsider here, but I think overall it says more about the competition than it does about Kansas dominationIowan wrote:Fucking Kansas is going to win the league again. Oklahoma visits West Virginia this weekend. As I'm rooting for Kansas to win the Big 12, I hope OU wins the game. That would give West Virginia 5 conference losses. OU has 4 conference losses and 2 of them were to Kansas. So in that case, KU could lose one more Big 12 game and still win the conference title.

WTF Bill? I know you're a man of wide ranging interests and deep knowledge but you come from the land of the Huskies yet know how many games ahead the Jayhawks are in the loss column in league play?Bill in CT wrote:Oklahoma visits West Virginia this weekend. My mom grew up in Wichita KS and many of my cousins are KU grads. In addition, I once saw KU play Oklahoma State in Lawrence. The game went to overtime and KU won.beantownbubba wrote:WTF Bill? Phog Allen Field House deserves every bit of its lofty reputation for being a great place to see a college basketball game. It was an amazing atmosphere.

Yeah my son lives in Lawrence and spends most of his discretionary income at Phog. Unfortunately, I've never been able to time my infrequent visits properly, tho I did see the football Jayhawks lose to a Division 2 team, lol.Bill in CT wrote:My mom grew up in Wichita KS and many of my cousins are KU grads. that church school from Durham comes to Chapel Hill. It's Hatfield/McCoy, Sunni/Shia, Ric Flair/Ricky Steamboat, Greasers/Socs, Crips/Bloods, Linkous/Kudzu, SAMCRO/Mayans, all rolled up into one knockdown dragout loser-leave-town grudge match.

Watching Nova/Temple finish up before my game. So far no shots of the Paddy's Pub gang in the crowd. You know Frank has some action going on this

Only St. Louis Cardinals fans deserve this level of scorn. They are truly terrible people

Love it. Iowa's historical season has made our pussy-ass bed wetting of season (we've lost at Hilton twice, TWICE, for fucks sake) that much worse.Clams wrote:PSU over #4 Iowa.

Re: College Basketball 2015-16
well that sucked. They deserved to lose. To have those pukes on the ropes all night and still not be able to deliver the finishing blow, typical. I guess the only good thing is that I have long been conditioned to the Heels not finishing the deal, it's in the DNA
at least I have It's Always Sunny on the DVR
