Sorry I'm late w/this. It was a very good game, esp. the 1st 5-7 minutes of the 2nd 1/2. Hopefully, we can meet again in the dance.

top 10 matchup right now on FS1, Oklahoma and Villanova from Pearl Harbor. On top of two very good teams we get Bill Raftery and Gus Johnson on the mics!

OU looks extremely sharp.

The top 4 in the Big 12 are going to be in some absolute dog fights this year.

Indeed, its an early X-mas gift -- or a late Hanukah one. Between Duke, UCLA and Kentucky, its a toss-up as to which I hate more.

never a question for me: dook hate is above and beyond all others, then Kansas & Kentucky can fight for scraps of what is left. UCLA once made the cut but not for many years

We're pretty used to it by now, unfortunately.

In predictable fashion, this lead to a fight between my wife and I.

I hate UNI, but I might hate our lazy, entitled, lolly-gagging team more

is she UNI? I don't think hoops has caused a fight between my wife and I since I destroyed a remote when the Heels lost to Utah in the 98 Final Four. I taught that remote a lesson it will never forget

she mostly avoids watching UNC games with me, at least big games. for some reason she says the room is a little tense

She ran track at UNI. Die hard Panther.

Doesn't cotton to me angrily ranting about losing to a "god damned mid major populated with front running Hawkeye fans".

Obviously I'm biased, but the Big 12 is going to be, without question, the most entertaining major conference to watch this year. We all play each other twice, and 4 out of 10 teams are Top 15 material, with 1 vs 2 tonight.

Yes, I would call that entertaining :) Superb game until the end when exhaustion basically took over. Not only was it fun watching, but I had separate text streams going w/ my son in Lawrence and 4sooner in Oklahoma. Added some extra interest.

That was one of the best games I've watched in a long time. Maybe ever. Can't wait to get both those squads in Hilton!

damn! After watching the Carolina game we moved on to a binge of Mr Robot. I wanted to watch KU/OU but wasn't gonna get by with 4+ straight hours of hoops this early in the season. Sounds like last night was similar to that 3 OT OSU/Texas game back in 2007

Caught the last 5 minutes of your game. I was impressed how fast that turned from a potential upset to a very comfortable win.

I thought the exact same thing. They flipped a switch there in the last few minutes, nice to see a semblance of a killer instinct, something our teams usually lack historically. Bryce Johnson had a game for the ages, no Heel has ever put up those combined points/rebound numbers, and when you are the first in UNC history to do something it is special

Bruce Hornsby's kid Keith (likely named for Keith Jarrett, and who used to play for UNC-Asheville) is now on LSU and he is a 3-point bomber. He has, dare I say, a lot of Range

Heels tip at Syracuse in about 45 minutes. This game worries me, has all the markings of a textbook trap game. Syracuse is not very good but this is the first game back for Boeheim after his 9-game suspension. I fully anticipate they will come out completely geeked up and in full berserker mode. Heels have a long history of losing to inferior teams that have some sort of motivation beyond just beating UNC.

The regular season for college basketball is virtually meaningless in the power conferences. Get hot near the end, make your run in the conference tournament and you're golden.

My Wolverines got their first "quality" win of the year, beating Maryland even though Michigan's best player didn't play. This will go a long way to getting us into the tournament. Its shaping up to a be a pretty competitive Big 10 this year. I agree with Dick Vitale (my fingers almost burned off as I typed that) that the road to the Big 10 title goes through East Lansing.

The students were camping out in ice fishing shanties last night. Should be absolutely insane.

I'm not super optimistic about the outcome, but it should be a showcase

I'm pretty concerned about this one. We were fortunate to get by Press Virginia Saturday. at home.
I heard one of our local talking heads today call Hilton "the place where high rankings go to die."
Should be a great game. No nights off in Big 12 hoops this season.

I've said it before, but there's not a conference in the country playing the kind of games the Big 12 is this year.

What a game. Even though we have a winning record over OU the past 3 years, I always feel like they're the better team every time we play. It's weird.

I wish I was on Welch Ave right now.
