post a top 5 list--any top 5 list!

This forum is for talking about non-music-related stuff that the DBT fanbase might be interested in. This is not the place for inside jokes and BS. Take that crap to some other board.

2) People who ask me if I'm voting for Trump
3) People who tell me what a great president Trump is going to be
4) People who compare Trump to Reagan
5) Dealing with people who are so ignorant that they think Trump is a viable choice to be president.

Imagine if you were working at a gun shop...

I had to make several trips to a local gun store back in early 2015. It was pretty strange. The gun crowd has a culture all it's own. They sold Obama toilet paper and had a black velvet painting of Ted Nugent playing a guitar that was firing bullets out of the head stock.

That is weird. Usually the guitar shoots flames, not bullets. Ted must be getting soft in his declining years.

I don't know what business you're in, but the only profession I can think of where this is routine is hippie whisperer.
I am a merchandiser for Home Depot stores. My team and I execute resets for seasonal merchandise and events as well as introduce new products to the stores. I travel to multiple stores here in the Southeast region. This is far more common than it should be.

I'm guessing the black velvet painting is a rendering of this album cover, the studio follow up to Cat Scratch Fever.

You may laugh, but till I was eighteen, Cat Scratch Fever was the hardest rocking record I had. I didn't listen to it much, but I understood I was supposed to, and I liked it in principle. Then, right at nineteen, Van Halen.

I would have no way of measuring what the hardest rocking record in my collection was back then but I do recall this era. Double Live Gonzo (which preceded the release of Weekend Warriors) was the last Ted Nugent album (on vinyl) that I purchased. Refreshing my memory, it appears that Weekend Warriors was the first album he did without Derek St. Holmes as the lead vocalist. Perhaps that had something to do with it. Or maybe I was just outgrowing the Nuge at that point (I was 16 at the time).

5 awesome Deep Thoughts

1. If a kid asks where rain comes from, I think a cute thing to tell him is "God is crying." And if he asks why God is crying, another cute thing to tell him is "Probably because of something you did."

2. It takes a big man to cry, but it takes a bigger man to laugh at that man.

3. I can picture in my mind a world without war, a world without hate. And I can picture us attacking that world, because they'd never expect it.

4. One thing kids like is to be tricked. For instance, I was going to take my little nephew to Disneyland, but instead I drove him to an old burned-out warehouse. "Oh, no," I said, "Disneyland burned down." He cried and cried, but I think that deep down he thought it was a pretty good joke. I started to drive over to the real Disneyland, but it was getting pretty late.

5. Dad always thought laughter was the best medicine, which I guess is why several of us died of tuberculosis.

5 favorite It's Always Sunny in Phiadelphia episodes, at the moment (in absolutely no order)

1. The Nightman Cometh
2. Who Pooped the Bed?
3. Paddy’s Pub: Home Of The Original Kitten Mittens
4. The Gang Turns Black
5. Charlie Kelly: King Of The Rats/The D.E.N.N.I.S System (tie)

Have already seen all episodes but of late have been Netflixing them again, in chronological order. Almost done with season 5 so the list will mostly come from the seasons that are freshest in my head

Your list would be very aligned with my wife's

1. The Gang Gives Frank an Intervention (this is my favorite episode of any show ever)
2. The Gang Beats Bogs
3. Bums: Making a Mess All Over the City
4. McPoyle vs. Ponderosa: The Trial of the Century
5. Sweet Dee Gets Audited/Sweet Dee Has a Heart Attack

Season 5 is probably my favorite

watched The Gang Gives Frank an Intervention just last night! Awesome. Love Gail the Snail

Love The Gang Beats Boggs and Chardee MacDennis and the only reason those two aren't on the current list is due to not seeing them as recently as the others. My list is gonna change all the time, though can't conceive The Nightman Cometh ever not being on the list. Another one that was hard to leave off the list was The Gang Solves the Gas Crisis

When Season 5 was airing live, I took a salt shaker tailgating the Saturday after the Intervention episode and started salting people.

The reaction was a little hit or miss.
