Grapico is in.

The only non-response left is rawkshow. Does anybody know how to contact him? He should have gotten an email notification from the league as well as a couple of PMs at this point.

Grapico and Tinnitus still need to log in . It's showing that they aren't back in the league yet, but they've both committed.

If we don't hear from rawkshow by Sunday, that leaves us with an even number at 8.

This has nothing to do with this league, but I was just wondering if any of you had any experience in a league like I joined this year. The format is a draft auction, but it also has a keeper/dynasty aspect. The auction works just like any other auction league: everyone has $200 in money to bid with, and you have to fill every roster spot. Once the draft is over, however, you have to decide how long you want to sign each player for. You can sign them from 1-5 years, but if you sign someone for a multi-year deal, and then he bombs, you are stuck with his contract on the books. There's a whole lot more to get into, including restricted free agency and a rookie draft starting in Year 2, but that's the gist of the league.

I drafted with an eye for the future, while also trying to be competitive now, since the entry fee is $200. I got Amari Cooper for $25 and Todd Gurley for $15, which is well below what elite WRs and RBs went for, and I signed them both for 5 years. If they pan out in a year or two, I'll have 2 studs at bargain prices; however, if they get injured or don't live up to their potential, I'm stuck with them. It seems like a cool idea, and I do appreciate the strategy involved, but I'm just conflicted on how long to sign most guys for.

We do an auction with keepers in my fantasy baseball league. Similar to what you did but not identical. Been doing it like that for like 25 years.

I am going to try to smoothly draft while at a work dinner tonight. So blame the auto draft if I am slow, and I will definitely be blaming my team on that ;). Good luck to all

Clams whines about getting Gronk, gets 27 pts last night.

Bovine gets 12 points on the last junk play of the game against me

Gronk (and Dez Bryant) got autopicked for us by mistake - the website wouldn't let a co-owner (Junior) make any picks, and it was into the third round before we logged him out and I got logged back in.

But yes, I'll take the 27.

So, I guess I'm gonna do horribly this year. I'd gladly accept some Pliny as a consolation prize, Bovine. ;)

Speaking of bovine's pliny, we never discussed the prize for the winner. I would do $20 a piece (or a beer shipment) like last year.

Yeah, I think I mentioned it in the first post (or very close to the first post).

20 bucks or beer will more than likely be the standard moving forward. 8-)

2 touchdowns was not enough. Only 20 yards. Shit.

rod. I was at the game last night and I was thinking Dammit the Eagles are going to come back and win this game and I am going to start 0-1 here because of Murray. And nope on both by the hair on my chinny chin chin (which like yourself is a good bit ;) ).

Was hoping to just get a split in my first 2 games while Leveon Bell was suspended, so I'm thrilled to be sitting at 2-0 without him.
