Dean just got back to the room. So, we are told that the radiologist must first read the pet scan and dictate the test results. Then, the cardiologist will get the test report & make decisions/recommendations, & then tell us. They think that the whole process may actually take until tomorrow to know anything.

Thanks everyone for the well wishes. Very glad to be out of the hospital and glad to be back to life as normal. Hospitals are necessary but no fun.

Good evening HeAthen family- we are back in the hospital with Dean's heart. He came in to er this morning & got to the room around 4 pm. When they came in to "read/download/analyze" data from his defibrillator around 6, it reported that he has been in AFib for 11 days. They said that an AFib episode closely following a CHF episode is not unusual. When Dean got his device 5 years ago, you had to have a landline telephone to allow remote monitoring and they told him he could come in every six months to get it "read". Anyway, now, we can upgrade and have a device that sits on the nightstand and uploads/downloads Dara every night. That way, if something goes wonky, they will know immediately - not 11 days later. They are also adding a blood thinner & some other new medications. Prayers/good vibes/healing wishes/white light, etc. are all welcome. He was very excited about the new shows announced today and has plans to hit as many as possible. Thanks y'all- we will keep you updated.
