good riddance
Lol. I've never understood why some people hate that show so much and love crapping on the Robertson family.
Never understood that myself but then I don't watch it so I have no reason to hate it. I do pity the fool that ain't watching Dancing tonight.
and the rest as they say is uh er uh, well somebodies history somewhere?

anyone else catch the 60 minute premiere of this tonight? Pretty damn funny. Been aware of Brockmire via Funny or Die and shows like Dan Patrick & Rich Eisen, glad to see it getting expanded

And icing on the cake: Amanda Peet is a god damn national treasure!!!

New season of Doctor Who starting tonight. Unfortunately, it will be Peter Capaldi's last. On any given day, I cannot decide if I like his portrayal or Tom Baker's more.
Now it's dark.

I think last night's episode of Fargo is my favorite of any season. It was like Twin Peaks meets Big Lebowski meets Fargo. I was shocked by the relatively negative reviews it received.

Better Call Saul is really hitting the mark as a series.

Silicon Valley continues to be the funniest show on TV, though the last episode was only OK at best (the fridge hack by Gilfoyle was the best part).

Agreed, I think we are about five episodes in on season three now. Excellent writing, directing and acting. Such depth and so much stuff going on. It's a Masterpiece.

Absolutely; its BB level. BCS and Fargo are keeping the second golden age going.

What's some other shows to check out? I'm psyched for Snowfall next month.

I'm really digging American Gods and the Twin Peaks revival.

Just finishing season 1 of this. If you have nothing else to watch this isn't bad. It's really over burdened with subplots and misdirection but manages to still be interesting. Stanley Tucci is fantastic in his role, but he's always pretty great.

Same here on American Gods. It took a few episodes to pick up some momentum but once it got rolling it was great. Love it every time Mad Sweeney calls Laura "dead wife" This show is visually stunning, just awesome to look at. Hell, the opening credits alone are amazing

And the Bowie version of Gillian Anderson's "god" was one for the ages

Tonight's Twin Peaks freaked the shit out of our puppy. She sat beside me like a trembling bag of protoplasm, occasionally bolstering enough courage to bark at the screen, hoping I'd talk her down.

I think it's better than BB at this point. And I say that as someone who LOVED BB. I think the interesting question is going to be when it's all said and done, should a newbie watch BB first or BCS first?
All it takes is one wicked heart, a pile of money, and a chain of folks just doing their jobs

I was a little bit underwhelmed but I'm going to keep watching. It was certainly nice to see Alison Brie topless.

I can see being underwhelmed. Agree totally that it isn't great but still pretty entertaining. Definitely worth seeing through to the end. One thing I noticed in later episodes was Alison Brie seemingly shifting between her (higher pitched) Annie voice from Community and the deeper Trudy voice from Mad Men. Really stood out in one episode

If I were president I would sign a law stating that Alison Brie and Aubrey Plaza have to be in every film/TV show ;)

Interesting that in GLOW the Betty Gilpin (Debbie/Liberty Belle) character was cheated on by her husband- same thing happened to her character recently in American Gods

Also was stunned to see singer Kate Nash in this, I had no idea she acted. She certainly had no issues with constant states of toplessness

Highly recommend this 4-part documentary, following the careers of Jimmy Iovine and Dr. Dre. Tons of interviews, with details on recording by Springsteen, U2, Patti Smith, Tom Petty, Stevie Nicks, NWA, Snoop Dog, Eminem, Dre, and likely others.

WARNING: Spoiler alert (watch the episode already, dammit!)

I'd say so. Sure, why not. As usual, they leave us with a bunch of questions. How did Ser Jorah get in a cell in Oldtown. I guess Dany has dibs on the dragon-glass below Dragonstone? Will Cersei marry Urine?
