Legit (no snark question): Is 3/4 full for the Spurs a good draw there, even for a Monday? The Spurs seems like a gimme sellout
It was probably a little more than 3/4 full, actually. There was a chance of severe weather which may have kept some people in and an 8:40 tip on a school night didn't help things.
I should have mentioned the start time in my initial post because I figured that would hurt more than it did. 3/4 or a little under is probably average for a weeknight.
thanks! 8:40 tip is a bit odd. The 9 PM tip always pissed me off when I lived in Chapel Hill and wanted to attend games.

The TNT west coast/ late game took place in the central time zone last night for some reason.

last night Draymond Green became the first player in NBA history to have a triple-double with single-digit scoring: 12 rebounds, 10 assists, 10 steals, 5 blocks and 4 points.

I have the same memory. I thought one of those shot-blocking types had done it. Not arguing the facts WWCD, just sharing the apparently incorrect memory.

No worries! it's with NBA.com/stats that you would be arguing--not saying you are arguing, that's just the word you used-- not me :D

Now that my two favorite former Wildcats are paired up in NOLA, Boogie Cousins & Anthony Davis, I might actually serious follow an NBA team for the first time since Reggie Miller retired.

Memphis is Grizz crazy right now. David Fizdale is an absolute hero here after his rant about the officiating earlier this week.

Missed the first 2 games of the Finals, but enjoyed last nite's heavyweight bout. It's a pleasure watching the greatest players play great at the biggest moments.

Kyrie Irving is a great player and does some spectacular things, but I'd feel a lot better about him if he didn't travel on virtually every possession. Yeah, I know, this is the NBA, which no longer has a traveling rule, but still...

I thought that LeBron James had finally learned that the "right" basketball play is not always the right play to make when you're, like, 10x better than some of your teammates. He really gets the game and if he could play w/ a bunch of equals would shine even more (while scoring less), but on this team, he needs to shoot more and pass less. Watching the Cavs "shoot" (heave?) threes last nite was painful to watch and their abject failure cost them the game. But at some point James should have realized that it wasn't happening and taken over. Had he done so my bet is that the Cavs don't get shut out for about 4 minutes and they win the game.

Number one pick secured, Markelle Fultz coming to Philly. Trust the process.

This deal has the makings of a win-win, and I hope it turns out that way.

If that's who Philly has identified as their guy, it was a good move to trade up to get him. It was also another solid move for Danny Ainge, since the Celtics don't need another front end point guard on their roster.

Far be it from to give any basketball advice to people that get paid to scout such things. Fultz has obviously been the consensus top pick for a long time and his stats look great. I watched him play three times this year and although he was solid each time, I personally like Josh Jackson, Lonzo Ball, and Tatum a little bit more. It's so easy to make the NCAA Tournament these days, especially fronted by a "superstar" player. Not only did the Washington Huskies not make the tourney, but they were an awful 9-22 on the season and 2-16 in the PAC 12. Are his stats inflated, because he is on a bad team? If he is the best NBA prospect, why couldn't he take over games more often?
That makes me pause a bit on Fultz. Especially on the Kyrie comps. He is at the top of most analysts big boards though. And they forget more about basketball in a day than I know about in a lifetime.
