Nebraska fucked up royally leaving the Big 12, but they’ll never admit it.

At least they cash big checks!
They also fired a coach after a 9-3 season

Yeah I think most look at the Solich firing as a colossal fuck-up.

The Fla/Ga game has been played in Jacksonville since 1915 with exception of the 2 years Jax's
stadium was being renovated for the Jags. Georgia has won the majority of the games including
5 of the last 6 yet Georgia's coach continues to cry about moving the game. Geeez! In the 90s
during the Gators longest winning streak, the 1994 game was played in Gainesville but was a home
game for Ga. The Gators won 52-33. The following year it was played in Athens with Fla being the home
team. Fla won 52-17. (It was also our first trip to Athens) In most cases the better team wins no
matter where the game is played, yet he continues to cry. Hopefully the pukey orange will give something
else to cry about. Go Smokey!

Oh yeah, he was the second coach they fired after a 9-3 season. Fun fact is that he was the interim coach for the bowl game after they fired Solich in 2003 (which they won).

Picks from the Swamp

Due to tonights Rawk Show we did the SEC dog picks a day early.
Obviously we have to pick this weeks game of the century.
And we have guest tosser, again this week, all the way from Iowa!

BONUS PICKS!

Aimee did her best to convince them to pick otherwise and was
even seen giving them biscuits before the pick.
After the picks Aimee told me Purdue was #2 in their division.
I couldn't help thinking about btb saying the pups didn't know
Big 10 or whatever it's called now.

Swamp dogs SEC pick of the week.
The guest tossers seem to be throwing Bonnie off.

Congratulations Cortez!! That's quite an accomplishment. Something those kids will never forget, and hopefully it's the same for the coaches.

Also, IIRC, the conference used to be limited to 8 games, so it's good to see that the season's now a little longer as I believe you wanted and it also makes the accomplishment that much more impressive and sweeter.

What color were the Oregon uniforms yesterday? Vitamin piss yellow? They deserved to lose the U of Washington Huskies just for those. Awesome game.

Thank you, bubba!

You are correct. NESCAC finally moved to a nine-game football schedule in 2018. Now, all ten teams play each other. For decades, every school had two schools they would alternate home-and-away series with. Trinity always swapped Bates for Colby every two years. And while Trinity has had many undefeated seasons in the past, this is the first nine-win Trinity squad. So, yes, both players and coaches are very happy with this historic accomplishment. It was a great group to be around.

Swamp dogs SEC pick of the week.
For reasons only known to me, I dub tonight's game
The Weenie Bowl
Bonnie, 5/5, picks first as usual.

Lieske, 2/8, goes with Bonnie even though every time he
does they both lose. Tenn musta left a bad taste in their mouths
after its performance against Ga.

PAC 12 is the most inept conference ever. No wonder the LA teams are leaving. This year they changed the rules for the conference championship. Rather than have each division winner play each other, they took the top 2 teams with a really complicated tie breaker system. Thus, we have Utah in the championship game @ 9-3 & Washington left out with a record of 10-2. It kind of negates having divisions. The good part is it looks like Washington is in line for a New Year's Day game (hopefully). The future looks good for the Huskies.

With a 6/6 record Bonnie wins the rights to pick this rest of the SEC games including this afternoons game.
Running late with no camera crew, so no video, but she picked the Dawgs.
As consolation Lieske gets to pick from the nonessential conference play offs.
He picked Michigan over Purdue.
