This forum is for talking about non-music-related stuff that the DBT fanbase might be interested in. This is not the place for inside jokes and BS. Take that crap to some other board.

Week 6, the formula

Post by Swamp »

Utah St goes to LSU, LSU 45 - Utah St 13
Memphis over UL-Monroe 32-6
Ok St over TexTec 27-24
SMU over Tulsa 28-14
As much as I'd like to see the Gators win, they struggled with the little cats and these are big cats!
Auburn seems to be the toughest in the SEC right now.
Auburn 21 - Gators 17
And finally my upset of the week. Tenn finally gets its shit together for this dog fight.
Smokey over Uga 20-19
Az St, Clem, Syra, WF & Ala are all hanging with NSYNC
and the rest as they say is uh er uh, well somebodies history somewhere?

Congrats, Swamp. Florida's defense was outstanding today.

I wish we played y'all every year like back in the day. I miss that rivalry. Outside of Georgia and Bama, I still consider Florida to be Auburn's next biggest rival even though we never get to play each other much anymore. Today wasn't pretty for either side, but Florida was the best team today from start to finish---and the crowd was in it the whole game.

That was a pleasant surprise. I miss going to the swamp and I miss this rivally. My buddy who went on most our road trips lives in C bus, so we would stay there for the Auburn games. Only time we stayed in Auburn was when we seen the Dimmer Twins at the War Eagle Supper Club.
3 out of 6 yesterday, ouch. I was hoping I was wrong with that game but Ok St really let me down by being the first team to allow a Texas team to break into my formula, and Tenn. well they're Tenn.

Week 8, the formula

Az St goes to Utah, number 1 in Pac 12 south.
Utah 38 - Az St 29
Clemson goes to Louisville for my upset of the week.
Louis 29 - Clem 28
No Car St loses to BC, 21-17
Baylor is knocked out by Ok St, 35-12
Temple loses to SMU, 42-38
Smokey ain't sniffing out a win this week.
Ala 52 - Tenn 13
The truth about cats and dogs, this ain't no romance/comedy yall.
LSU 47 - Miss St 14
Chicken truck chicken truck just my luck. Some of our best road trips.
I was standing on the side of the road near W-B stadium wih a rubber chicken in my hand. As a So Car fan slowed down for a red light he looked over, saw me choking my chicken, his door flew open and he fell on the road laughing. I have respected So Car fan ever since.
Gators 32 - Cocks 8
....and he was throwing his bones at me.

Unfortunately for me, I can. But I'm thinking I"ll see us lose by 3 touchdowns unless we play much much better than have so far this year.

gritty (overused, i know) win while not playing our best.

barner d is legit and steele had them ready to play. good tigers made lots of mistakes but stayed steady and gutted out a great team win.

both tiger defenses played their asses off. like always.

Image
this is fun to watch.

also make note......lsu marks the field yardage numbers every 5 yards.....not 10.

old school. or our school.

Tonight, the only undefeated Big 12 team host West Virginia.
Baylor 33 - WV 27

It used to be billed as the "Worlds largest outdoor cocktail party"
Back before the PC police but I digress. Anyways this is my game of the week, winner takes the SEC east.

Because people in Memphis need another reason to drink before noon.....College gameday is coming to Beale Street this Saturday. It will be a madhouse.
