This forum is for talking about non-music-related stuff that the DBT fanbase might be interested in. This is not the place for inside jokes and BS. Take that crap to some other board.

The Big 10's on field product has been one of the two worst among major conferences for the better part of a decade, and they did nothing in realignment to change that.
I hate to just side with the pundits, but USA Today's top 4 teams are who I'm picking for the inaugural playoff.

The bottom half of the conference is a dumpster fire. Until Purdue, Indiana and Illinois decide to play big boy football, the conference will suffer
And I knew when I woke up Rock N Roll would be here forever

A top tier team winning the NC would help the league just as much, a la FSU and the ACC.
FSU winning last year doesn't elevate my opinion of the ACC in any way.
The problem is that the low end teams in the Big Ten go 2-10 or 3-9, while the low end teams in the SEC go 6-6. The Big Ten needs to figure out how to make its basketball schools care about football

I think WVU is going to be better this year than last. But not that much better. I think they'll hang with Bama for awhile, but it won't be that close in the end.
I think if Holgo can't get back to a bowl this year, he's done in Morgantown.
My youngest daughter is working for the new Hall of Fame. Went to a soft opening today. Totally awesome. Completely interactive using infrared technology that personalizes the whole experience. A must see when you're in Atlanta. Admission is $20 and down. Really fired up for the season now.
Almost forgot, the College Football Hall of Fame has the actual trombone that the Standford band member was holding when he got run over at the end of the famous Cal/Standford "the band is on the field" game in 1982. Being a marching band nerd from way back, this is just too cool for words.
Kind of funny down here where about 40% are Ole Miss fans, 40% are Mississippi State Fans and then there's this small group, maybe 10%, of Alabama fans who seem to have by far the most flags, signs and whatnot on their houses and cars.
We call him Scooby Do, but Scooby doesn’t do. Scooby, is not involved

That sounds like the Husker fans in Western Iowa. Just the worst of all sports bandwagoning fans there are. Some became Iowa football/ISU basketball fans in the past decade-ish.

We are easy targets to make fun of, but the few lunatics like Harvey Updyke are not the norm.
I have absolutely no issue with Alabama fans personally. The whole thing of moving down here to SEC country has been pretty interesting to me actually. Most loyal fans I've ever seen. Being from Chicago I'm used to people absolutely turning on their teams, pro or college, when they're losing, but SEC fans are fans of their teams come what may and they're not afraid to show it. Kind of refreshing actually.
