This forum is for talking about non-music-related stuff that the DBT fanbase might be interested in. This is not the place for inside jokes and BS. Take that crap to some other board.

So many gems in this post:
Cole Younger wrote:

Fromm’s regression is real and it’s spectacular.

Kirby Smart’s offensive philosophy is like owning a muscle car but driving it like a station wagon. Kirby wants to get a ten point lead and start bleeding clock in the second quarter. He coaches like a man trying to discreetly fart in church.
As an Auburn fan, I completely feel your pain regarding offense.

Please tell me someone saw the end of the Egg Bowl.

Ole Miss is driving down the field down 21-14, and after a chaotic series of mishaps, flags, and the replaying of downs, they finally score on a pass play with 4 seconds remaining. The only problem is, the receiver pretends to be a dog crawling on all fours and peeing as a celebration (like DK Metcalf in 2017), and gets hit with a 15 yard unsportsmanlike penalty. Out of two point range, the Rebels are forced to kick the PAT, and the college kicker being a college kicker, of course misses it. 21-20 Bulldogs. Positively brutal.

Week 14, the formula

Post by Swamp »

Running late this week. We've had the flu since monday and we both got our shots. I feel a little better this morn but the Mrs don't. Last time I checked on her she looked pitiful but I had to chuckle, she was wearing a I blame Clams shirt.
Friday night lights in Memphis
Memp over Cinci, 37-14
LSU has no problem with Ta&m, 42-17
Clem goes to So Car and wins, 38-21
Ok over Ok St, 28-27
Utah over Colo, 38-31
Bulldogs seem to be on a roll. Both Thor and Bully won yesterday but last time I took my cue from a dog I was wrong.
GT over Ga 12-9
and the rest as they say is uh er uh, well somebodies history somewhere?

The paper works! The dog in my Working this Job video would "come correct" immediately at the mere mention of the paper. My wife got blasted on fakebook for suggesting the paper to a friend with dog problems.

Hard to beleive that's the same stadium I was in 47 years ago. Does the Memphis Belle still sit out front? Nothing like a good cat fight, but wait, the Bearcat was a navy plane from the same era as the Memphis Belle. Maybe it'll be a dog fight. Go Tigers!

It does not.

That was a very fun game. It did drag in the second an third quarter but the fourth quarter was worth the price of admission.
Cincinnati carved up the Memphis secondary for a good chunk of the game. Hopefully that will be addressed and fixed for the rematch next week.

It's a very fun time to live in Memphis.

I was rooting for Miss St (my wife is an alum and grew up there) so I'm glad it worked out for the Bulldogs. However, If I woke up in Matt Luke's shoes I'd resign before that kid played at Ole Miss again. That is inexcusable, selfish bullshit.

Hard to know what to make of that Ole Miss disaster. I think it probably makes the most sense to resist trying to draw big messages or lessons from it. On a personal 1:1 level, surely this will either build or destroy the kid's character. I can't imagine the grief he's going to get given the general tenor of big time college football and the ultimately small world of a college campus. Which is not to say he doesn't deserve it. On the level of stupid, selfish, sophomoric shit players do, this is right at the top.

I didn't see the game or follow the story in detail: Do we know whether Ole Miss planned to go for the win or tie (if they had a legit chance at the 2 pointer)? I love to see teams go for the win in that situation and if that was the case, it makes the sin even greater.
