This forum is for talking about non-music-related stuff that the DBT fanbase might be interested in. This is not the place for inside jokes and BS. Take that crap to some other board.

Think of it like pre season. It's a win win for the little schools. They get paid good money to entertain the fans.
They can lose without losing face.
But if they win, they aint getting invited back.
and the rest as they say is uh er uh, well somebodies history somewhere?

I really thought Geo St was gonna make a great run, but then again, there's a
reason the St Johns river runs north. So now W Mich is in against Syra who
has a better chance of breaking in this week.
W Mich 7 - Syra 21
Cemson over C town 45-3

The Cains were a lot worse than I thought and now we got Wake Forrest in the mix.
Wake Forrest 51 - Elon 6
Ala 57 - So Miss 10
Wyo 31 - Tulsa 28
Another Pac 12 team has a chance to break on thru,
and I think they do.
Cali 29 - Ole Miss 22
LSU over Vandy 42-7
Georgia ain't got a prayer. Spell Dawg backwards and see what you get*
ND 21 - Geo 20
Aub over TAM 28-27
Talk about a blessing and a curse. THE UK has Franks number and the gators ain't winning that game.
Franks goes down, Trask comes in and the rest as they say....So now Tenn has a chance to break back in,
and to that I say poppycock, good ole poppycock, poppycock & hennessy
Fla over the Vols 24-17
Both Kan St and Memp get byes this week.
(* I try my best)
and the rest as they say is uh er uh, well somebodies history somewhere?

Man, what a brutal game for the Wolverines. My 10 year old and I went up for the game, and I think he learned several new words in the first half. Well, he probably knew the words but not in the combination in which they were used. Its safe to say the Harbaugh honeymoon is over.

We were checking in on it while watching the ISU game, and my buddy made the comment "it's like the Michigan players are trying to get Harbaugh fired".

San Jose State, of the Mountain West Conference, goes to Fayetteville and beats Arkansas, of the god-like SEC conference, 31-24 (plus they got paid $1.5 million for the trip)

Don't they hang coaches/players down there for such a heinous loss?

Wake Forrest goes to bean town, bubba and loses 52-45
Aub 37 - Miss St 14
While Kan St may have beat Miss St, they're done here
Ok St 35 - Kan St 28
The Gators play some school I have never heard of
Fla 52 - Towson O

Like that was a surprise. Cals been having a good year and keeps the streak alive by beating Az St.
Cal 32 - Az St 28
Tonight is my game of the week Navy plays Memphis in the Liberty Bowl. I saw the jets play the patriets there. It was pre season, both teams wore their white jerseys and Joe Namath didn't even show up. What a rip off. As a kid I rooted for Memphis St. I was living at Naval Air Station Memphis and as a navy brat have always rooted for Navy (even though they have marines on the team) Memphis finally gets knocked out of the formula tonight.
Navy 28 - Memphis 21
After some really ruff ruff weeks Georgia gets some time off. LSU and Tulsa also get byes.

Rapelor is going down this weekend. God, I hate those assholes. They should have never been in the Big 12 in the first place. They institutionalize a culture of basically sacrificing young women in order to be better at football, and then hide behind Christianity and claim that the only reason Art Briles got fired was because of some kind of liberal media witch hunt. Waco is a shit hole.

Fuck Baylor, go Clones.

I wonder which one of their goons will assault our players this year? Watch 52 from Baylor take a head shot at David Montgomery, and then Montgomery gets ejected for retaliating. Complete trash program run by trash people at a trash university in a trash town supported by trash fake Christian fans.

Those pussies won’t bring ‘em north!

It’s cracking me up watching Baylor media go “can they handle this heat?”

It’s supposed to be 94 in Waco on Saturday. It was 93 in Ames last week. I think we got it, Tex.

Referee Shot In The Head By Cannon During College Football Game

The referee was taken to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The Hancock County Sheriff’s Office will investigate the matter, and the school said in a statement that it would no longer allow random alumni to bring cannons to home football games, which seems reasonable.

The Wake Forest at BC game always resonates a little deeper around here than might be expected. I can't remember the year, but we were at a restaurant near the BC campus and a bunch of WF supporters were also having dinner there. All of a sudden things get real quiet and people start standing up and gravitating towards the bar (i.e. the TV). I overhear some Wake fans looking around, trying to figure out what was going on and I explain that "Buchholz hasn't given up a hit and it's the 9th inning." I get blank stares back. Buchholz gets the last out, the place erupts and the WF fans have that deer in the headlights look and seem to be wondering if they should hide under the table or what :) It was a cross cultural lack of communication for the ages. Plus, you know, a no-hitter by a rookie who at the time seemed like he might anchor the rotation for a decade.

It’s honestly the most unified I’ve seen this place in awhile, but there’s an irony in anti cancel culture backlash calling to cancel beer.
